Update after PVCs SVT Ablation
Its now been 2 months since my ablation procedure. I am not taking any beta blockers or heart rhymn drugs. My energy level is much higher. As for the SVTs and or PVCs they are almost gone. I only have them when something triggers them. It seems like when I eat a meal that has alot of sodium or potasium

Endoscopy AGAIN
So tomorrow I have another endoscopy, this is my 3rd in 8 weeks, I don't think there will be any banding this time, I don't feel like there will be anyway. I do however have 'Portal Gastropathy' this means that I have snake like skin in my stomach. It's a common cause of Cirrhosis of the Liver and Portal

3 1/2 weeks to go and still counting
It feels like for ever before I get to see a consultant just to probably say nothing to be found. I just went to the gp this week as still feeling crappy from my last hospital stay. Liver functions are back to normal which is good. But still have white cells in urine. So put on another lot of antibiotics

I'm new here, but I've had liver cirrhosis for over a year
I am new to the group and just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I had 3 liver transplants way back in 1995, and lived a normal life for around 20 years. At the back end of 2015 was told I had developed cirrhosis of the liver through being on medications for so many years ( my original liver disease

Why oh why has this itch gone so out of control and why is it only my back where I can't reach to slap scratch or rub something on? I think I'm going to loose my mind. Eating a total detox diet in grave danger of turning into a rabbit. No fat no salt no sugar no booze though my cirrhosis is not drink

Anxiety taking over my life!😢
So I've battled with anxiety/depression for years. I've had all the physical symptoms that come with it from heart palps, sharp pains through out entire body, dizzy spells just to name a few. The last 2 years it felt like I kicked it to the curb I was going out having fun enjoying all the weekend outing

Blood in urine
wondered if anyone could help, have had lots of tests & nothing found in bladder or kidneys, could the blood in urine be due to painful bladder syndrome as I have symptoms which sound the same

Blood Clusters/Clots Coming From Throat?
Hi everybody I'm an 18 year old female who until recently has been perfectly healthy. I don't ever get sick, but in the past few months a slew of weird symptoms without explanation have started. I started having premature ventricular contractions and still have them ( they cause all kinds of bad symptoms

Cirrhosis and doctors all unconcerned
So, I was detoxed from alcohol last April. Doctor comes bounding in says 'yeah, definitely cirrhosis, good pressure though'. The report shows 'cirrhotic liver' 'enlarged spleen' no varices, no portal hypertension. That was it, no follow up, I had to ask the GP to do LFTs three months later and they came

Mr JA
Puzzled: have been told I have cirrhosis which was picked up by chance from a CT scan for another condition. All my blood tests are normal and my liver "is doing all it is supposed to do". A gastroscope examination reveals no portal hypertension or varices and stomach and duodenal normal.I do have ankle

Abnormal Blood tests
Hi Everyone I recently went through a complete panel of liver tests . I was diagnosed with Liver Fibrosis F2-F3 recently. I have few queries. 1. I have diabetes for several years and also drinking regularly in moderate amounts, So I am not sure if this is NASH or ASH. ANI calculator indicates 96% possibility

I am a 34 year old female. Mother of 3 ages 17,6 and 2. I have a history of PVC's and PAC's both low density. I recently wore an event monitor that has raised a debate. One episode was a 7 second strip of what one EP labels atrial tachycardia and anothter atrial fibrillation. Would 7 seconds be typical

Alt and creatinine high?
Dear All, My son had some tests 6 weeks ago and repeated these again... They have come back as high again: Alt 115 Creatinine 105 All other tests are well in range... We have an appointment on Friday - the GP will look at referring to a specialist and I'm hoping he is sent to the same team who have been

Hello everyone, in a 19 year old female and Lately I've been having some scares with my heart. How to let it go....
My husband has end stage cirrhosis. Each time he has another drink, it cuts me in two. I am miserable, and he is miserable. He has been hospitalised/near death twice in the last year. How can I separate the man from the action? I know he is killing himself and that makes me angry and sad, but I

Anxiety and Me
Hi Everyone. I was recently diagnosed with PVCs. The doctor told me it's due to anxiety. All heart tests are okay. I was prescribed Xanax but I am too afraid to take it. Anxiety makes everything scary. I have been crying a lot, very bad days. Heart starts, then the lightheadedness. I can't even stand
