I'm confused!
I supposedly have Paroxysmal AF, and take Flecainide morning and night, and Metoprolol and Xarelto at night. My cardiologist is not good at explaining and seems impatient when I ask. Perhaps someone here can help? When I try to go the PIP route with Flecainide, I find that by late afternoon I am

Waking up anxious this morning
I haven't had anxiety to wake me up in a very long time, but this morning I woke up having PVCs. Usually I deal with those okay. They've been happening so long that I'm used to them, but I've never had them wake me up before. Has anyone else experienced this? I want to start taking magnesium, but I'm

Levothyroxine, Interstitial Cystitis & Cystitis
I am on 100mcgs of levothyroxine and suffer with interstitial cystitis and recurring cystitis. I believe levothyroxine is playing a huge role in contributing to the pain I suffer with cystitis. I stopped my levothyroxine for 1 day and the pain improved by 80%, but of course you start to feel very hypothyroid

PVC's and PAC's Drastically Reduced/Stopped after years of terror and diminished life quality....? I'm not sure, but this is what I did..
Well, over the past couple of weeks my life has turned around for the positive and I cannot believe it!!!! I am so happy, but don't want to get too excited until more time has passed. After literally starting to plan my demise (that's right...having up to 13,000 + PVC's and hundreds of PAC's and not

So much going on
Hello everyone, I don't even know where to start or what questions I have. I have been diagnosed with PBC about two yrs ago. My "liver" Dr was very lax in my diagnosis. He seemed to act like it wasn't a big deal. That he even said that it wouldn't be something to worry about until I'm like 75 and then

Urinary retention
I have a UTI at the moment, but prior to being diagnosed hypo I had noticed that my urine stream had weakened a little. It seems to have weakened more since going on levo and I don't pee as much (maybe the apparent retention is the cause of the UTI - I don't usually suffer). My question is - did anyone

Newbie here - supporting my dad through Cirrhosis
Hi everyone, I've found this site very helpful so far, reading through people's experiences and how they deal with living with Cirrhosis. Thank you for all for being so open and honest. My dad was told from his latest ultrasound scan that it suggests he has Cirrhosis, he had an MRI scan last week and

Levothyroxine Interstitial Cystitis
I have had an underactive thyroid for 13 years and have been on Levothyroxine. I also have interstitial cystitis. Can Levothyroxine upset interstitial cystitis? Contracted both conditions within a year of each other. If thyroid not controlled properly, can that upsetiinterstitial cystitis?

Understanding blood test results
A bit of a contentious issue at times, but trying to make sense of blood test results, I don't find easy. Even having read the BLT paper on the subject, even this doesn't explain how each result ties in with each other. Cutting a little ng story short, I have had 3 tests over the last 4 months following

Please help! 😶
Hello ladies, I really need some help to decipher the diagnoses + findings from my discharge letter. Although my Gynae did go over what he would be doing, I was so nervous about it I can't remember! 😂 The laparoscopy was on Thursday. Diagnoses: - Endometriosis (I know this one!) - ?Adenomyosis (again

Hubby has NAFLD cirrhosis despite being tee total and in the past having the occasional drink.Lately he has experienced high temp , shivering and sometimes nausea. Is this part of cirrhosis ? Does type 2 diabetes and ulcerative colitis really give him cirrhosis?

Palpitations, low heart rate, normal BP
I'm a 61 female, have had irregular heartbeats since I was 25. Over the past 3 or so years they've gotten worse to the point where I don't think I can live like this. In and out of the ER for the past 4 months diagnosed with PVC's. they go all day, every day, taking over my life. Worse with lifting weights

Hi. My ex is currently in hospital very poorly. Waiting for results to come back for the exact amount of damage. Yesterday we were told his ammonia levels are double what they should be which is affecting his brain. He is declining very quickly. He has been a heavy drinker for over 20 years but an alcoholic
