So last night i had just laid down in bed after a long day with some family and friends . I laid down and felt like my heart skipped a beat and then had several fast beats afterwards . The beats were fast and strong . Then it went back to my normal beat and about 3 mins later did the same thing . A skipped beat and several and as in several i mean about 10 to 15 fast beats afterwards . Ive had pvcs and pacs for over 2 years now but have never felt anything like this . It was so scary . Can anyone relate ?

Yes. During really stressful times, my PVCs can be up to 20,000 a day and it's so scary. The worst is when there's several in a row and you start getting dizzy. That sounds like what you might have had because your heart will race a bit too reset itself afterwards. Sometimes they can be positional so you can try moving around to different sides or on your back or stomach. Have you had a Holter or event monitor, stress test or echocardiogram?
Yes ive had a 48 hr holter monitor which showed about 58 pacs and 850 pvcs which isnt a lot . Ive had a stress test and echo which came back fine . I am supposed to be getting scheduled for another echo soon . I have a slow heart beat when i am relaxed the holter monitor showed a 44bpm low so im kinda scared to take any meds for it . I have shortness of breath a lot which makes me anxious 24/7 . Ive been having pvcs and pacs for 2 years since i had my second daughter but ive never felt anything like the skip and the fast beats to follow . It was scary.
You poor thing. I agree it's extremely scary, especially when you have little ones. Don't be afraid to follow up with your doctor and/or cardiologist and just let them know you've been feeling a different sensation from usual. Hugs to you. My best guess is you're a-okay but sometimes that little bit of peace of mind the doctor can give is more valuable than gold when you're experiencing new symptoms.
The piece of mind from the doctors does help for a littlw while and then it is right back to where i started with a new sensation added to it . Drives me crazy . I just sit and think why me ?? And then like last night i would be falling asleep and wake up feeling like my heart stopped idk if that is anxiety or if my heart is actually stopping or what . It happens about 6 or 7 times before i fall all the way to sleep .
