Goodbye AF, hello PVC's.
Hi all, it has been a while since I have posted here. It’s good news and bad. The good news is that 18 months post-PVI-ablation, I am still totally clear of AF. The bad news is that I have developed ventricular ectopy (extended PVC episodes) in the last few months. The episodes come on around 1am and

Weird heart feelings
Anyone had the feeling where your heart stops beating for a second and then I comes back with a very strong beat and then beats faster for like 20 seconds?? Or feels like their heart flipped for a second?? Dr said these are PVCs, I had a holster monitor and less than 1% of beats were PVCs but I feel

PVC’s or PAC’s and dry mouth can Anxiety be the cause
I’m 56 former professional athlete who’s had occasional skipped beats since my thirties. About two years ago I would get bouts of about twenty skips a day for a month and they would gradually go away. Visited cardiologist, did blood work and found high cholesterol (family history) and slightly high blood

Confused
Hi, I'm Jo. I was recently been diagnosed with F4 nonalcoholic cirrhosis. I have portal hypertension and varacies. So far I'm not any treatment. I will see a liver specialist next month to discuss treatment. For now, I am floundering as to what I should and shouldn't do. Any input would sure be nice.

Does Blood Pressure reduce post cirhosis
I was recently diagnosed with cirhosis. All tests done I was finally told it was due to my weight. So I have been suggested lifestyle changes. My question is - I used to have a blood pressure of around 140/85 earlier for which I used to take medications. Now a days the blood pressure is only around 100

Pvcs all day and night long
I’ve been dealing with pvcs for the past 2 days non stop from morning till throughout the whole night. They are the worst when I’m relaxed and just laying down. It almost seems like every few beats I get them. Almost like hiccups. I’ve always felt them for at least 6 years now but this time they are

Six pack after transplant- possible? :)
Hi guys, I hope you are doing well. I have a bit of a random question but want to see what your opinion is. I am very grateful to have received a liver transplant over one year ago now. Due to the nature of my operation I was left (intentionally) with an incisional hernia which I am hoping will be repaired

Flecainide - from PIP to 2x100/day now want to get off of it
Hi everyone, My first post on here. I'm reaching out because I've had some issues with Flecainide that my doctors don't acknowledge and I know I'm not crazy. I've had PAF for 30 years. Would have an event maybe once a year or slightly more. Then I gained weight and got severe obstructive sleep apnea

What are attainable ammonia levels?
I’m new here. I have shared about my 42 year old daughter who takes Lactulose (2 doses per day) and Xifaxin (2 per day). Now we don’t believe that her first 4 lab tests at an outsider were correct because the blood draw was not chilled. Now we know that it should be and have a hospital outpatient lab

Papillary Muscle Ablation
Ablation not totally successful as the origin of the PVC’s was deep in the papillary muscle and after 7 hours and 40 burns they did not want to risk damage to the mitral valve. PVC’s continue post procedure. Plus, they were unable to induce the exercise induced VT. So it is back to the med route, this

Anxious about liver fibroscan results!
I have had fatty liver disease and now NASH (presumably). I have had 3 fibroscans 6 months apart and I'm now Stage 3 Fibrosis. kPa was 5.4, then 7.5 and now 11.4. CAP was 328, 306, and now 216. I am scared out of my mind. I just retired, and I feel like I'm going to drop dead in a year now. I'm not ready

PVCs flutters daily
I've suffered from heart flutters since my mid 20s now I'm in my late 30s. I've had multiple cardiology visits, ekgs, heart scans, and they've only found mild regurgitation of my valves. Have never taken any medication for the issue because before, they would come and go. However, this year since about

Do PVCs+valve problem lead to heart failure?
I’m hoping someone out there might be able to give me some reassurance and may be going through something similar. I’ve had PVCs for years and have Mitral valve regurgitation too (mild to moderate). I’ve been taking Verapamil and Flecainide for 5 years but have decided to have an ablation. I’m really

Recurrent UTI
Just wondering if having endo on your bladder can cause UTI's? I haven't been diagnosed with endo but I do have an endometrioma behind my right ovary. Has anyone who has endo on the bladder suffered from UTI's?

PVC
Hey y’all, back in April I was sent to a cardiologist because I was having what felt like a big skipped beat and then my heart racing afterwards. It was worse when I exercised. I had an exercise stress test that showed a couple PVCs and that was it. Doctor said nothing to worry about. Next, had an echocardiogram

Pandora's box
Well, the last post I wrote spoke of PVC's I was experiencing. I'm afraid it escalated into one horrific episode one night, when I suddenly went completely dizzy and very nearly lost consciousness. Just managed to hold on until I could get to a phone and call the ambulance. The attack subsided and
