Hey y’all, back in April I was sent to a cardiologist because I was having what felt like a big skipped beat and then my heart racing afterwards. It was worse when I exercised. I had an exercise stress test that showed a couple PVCs and that was it. Doctor said nothing to worry about. Next, had an echocardiogram and it was perfect. I’ve had a million EKGs and they never catch them. Neither did an event monitor I wore for 30 days. I think it’s because I wasn’t quick enough to record them. Anyway, I ended up in the emergency room last night because I couldn’t breathe well and the doctor put me on the heart monitor so she could watch. She kept being like “Did you feel that? You just had one.” I didn’t feel any of them until it was like 3 in a row. I’m confused why they are becoming more frequent now, I have them daily, at least ones a I can feel. I’m concerned how many I’m actually having if I can’t feel some of them. Is this dangerous? Do y’all feel uncomfortable after you have them? My chest doesn’t necessarily hurt, it just feels off. Thanks in advance for your help!

I've had PVC's for 20 years. If you've had all this testing and everything is normal, try to relax. Stress just makes it worse. PVC's in the absence of heart disease are benign.

I'd bet the "off" feeling you're experiencing is muscle tension from some anxiety related to these PVC's.

I believe I had them in the past but didn't realize what was going on, never saw a doctor back then. Dec 17 had a CHF! Hard lesson learned. Glad you're on top of it, prayers your way🙏
