Random dizzy spell and slower heart rate when sit down from standing position
Hello everyone. Has anyone felt this before. Sometimes when I stand up, and sit back down on the coach quickly, I get dizzy and my heart rate feels like it slows down; takes a few seconds to go back to normal, then I feel fine. This only happens when I sit down (like thump down on the coach kinda hard

Sensations in neck/throat?
I had my Holter monitor placed this morning and will be wearing it for a week. It's an ePatch and much smaller than I expected. The nurse told me it could take a while for the results to come in, so now I am on edge about having to go through another waiting period. I did not get to see the doctor

Answers at last and amazing good news!
I went today to get my results from the ARFI scan I had 12 days ago. This test is only for people with Nash and the criteria is all listed on NICE guidelines. In just 3 years I appeared to have gone from fatty liver to cirrhosis. I was informed today that Fibroscans are inaccurate in 20% of people,

I had been suffering a constant, jittery anxiety and PVCs every couple of days..... I was exhausted and napping everyday.... Having panic attacks. I had read that potassium and magnesium can help reduce pvcs and in fact my blood test showed I was low on potassium. I started increasing my potassium just

Update on My Father's Cirrhosis - Seems Stable
Hello, As we found out about my father's Cirrhosis in February after we noticed his swollen stomach. His Ascites of 2.5ltr was drained in on Feb 23, 2019. It was followed by Endoscopy where grade 3 varices were diagnosed. He never had bleeding, but doctors recommended banding, so he had it done in

Still concerned about my liver!
Hey all, New to the group here but have been visiting for roughly 2 years as I've worried myself like crazy over some past drinking habits. To give some background: I drank heavily (roughly 8-12 beers a day) for about 4 years before snapping out of it and cutting way back. In addition, I partied like

Looking for advice on EP visit and next steps
Hi all, It's been quite a long time since my first post -- almost 2 years. I had my first non-converting episode of AF back in July 2017 when I was 27 years old, in which I eventually needed cardioversion to get converted back to sinus rhythm. I've since been on 120mg Cartia XT (diltiazem) extended release

Cirrhosis and Work
Hi everyone, This is my first post here. My dad just recently found out he has cirrhosis most likely starting from fatty liver (we’re actually in the US). I’m just wondering how peoples experiences have been continuing to work after diagnosis? He is 52, so relatively young and active (his job is going

Worried
Normal US, MRCP, bloods, except dilated bile ducts and Alt 61, AST 40 (peaked at 108ALT/54AST) for over six months with zero alcohol... used to be a weekend drinker but stopped cold in November once saw enzymes were up a little. Could bile duct issues be causing those raised numbers? Anyone else have

Moral support needed
My husband as just joined this wonderful group after having been diagnosed in February with cirrhosis stage3/4 and ascites He’s 70 years old and has been type 2 diabetic for 25 plus years although the Cirrhosis is partly due to alcohol related it is also due to the vast amount of medication he has
