Hello everyone, thank you for having me.
I have been diagnosed 17 years ago. I have been in denial the whole time. Even though I was on insulin x2 with pregnancy. Am still on medication. I find it hard to accept I am diabetic and mostly forget.

am 60 + type 2 on metformin. Also hypothyroid and have undergone by pass. Though my sugar levels are somewhat under control(not fully--Hb1AC 9) my problem is laziness/depressive feeling particularlywhen it comes to go for bath. Is it due to diabetes or hypo thyroidism?

Low Blood Sugars
I know my GP is not able to deal with this now, so I'm just looking for some advice. For about 2 weeks now, I have been continually having low blood sugar levels. I do have an ongoing bladder infection, which I have had 3 courses of antibiotics for and still not cured. I have managed to lose 3 stone

Hi all, I’m pleased to say I’ve just started the C25K programme and had my first run yesterday. Fast labour / Precipitous Birth / Excess Amniotic Fluid (Polyhydramnios)
Hello! I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced a rapid birth with their first born and went on to have second babies? I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant with our second baby (my toddler is 20 months) and I’m wondering how quick the second birth could be considering we had a birth from start to finish

Diabetes Medication
My husband has PD and about a year ago was told he was pre-diabetic. He was given Metformin but found it was affecting his PD so stopped taking it. He managed to reduce his blood sugar readings but past two visits to the nurse they have been up again and the nurse is talking about different meds, either

Low Carb virgin seeks advice
We've added low carb to our intermittent fasting as already stated some 3 weeks back. I weighed myself this morning and have lost .3kg. I know PMRpro posted in response to a previous post about the steroid effect and only vaguely understood it. Last night whilst not being able to sleep I used Carb

Pre-diabetes and the NHS prevention program.
Hi everyone, As we have many members who are pre-diabetic and with it being January how many of you are struggling to get into your clothes and want to lose a pound or two? Type 2 diabetes has some serious consequences so it is well worth taking steps to prevent it rather than treat it, as type 2

How Safe are Holland & Barrett Supplements?
Hi I've noticed a few times on here that people have stated to be 'careful' with Holland & Barrett. I'm unsure if this means there are gluten ingredients, non-declared gluten ingredients or cross-contamination risk, so looking for clarification on people's experience. My reason for asking this is having
