How Safe are Holland & Barrett Supplements?
Hi I've noticed a few times on here that people have stated to be 'careful' with Holland & Barrett. I'm unsure if this means there are gluten ingredients, non-declared gluten ingredients or cross-contamination risk, so looking for clarification on people's experience. My reason for asking this is having

Diabetic and running?
Quick question for any one who runs or knows someone who runs with T1 or T2 diabetes. Now I am up to the 30 minutes running what changes to my type 2 diabetes can I expect to see? What changes have you seen? Good or bad, I would like to know, I know that I will now need to pay extra attention to my feet

Hi everyone and greetings from sunny Andalucia where we, and the whole of Spain are in lockdown. Yesterday afternoon the raised level of alarm led to a decree to restrict movement of people.. we are to stay in our homes , the only valid reasons for leaving your home are to buy essential food and household

Looking to try the LCHF as a last resort!
Hi all, I am a newbie. I would like to know the specifics of the low carb high fat diet, the induction phase and weight loss phase meals and what to eat at these stages, perhaps a meal plan for these stages if that's ok. Looking for a sustainable weight loss, and determination to see it thru this time

Off insulin
I'm Paul and I've been on healthunclocked since November 2018 just after my partner passed away from terminal cancer. I had decided I needed to do something since I was around 17st and on 45 units of insulin twice a day. I started off by walking to work about 4 miles and eating sensibly. My diabetic

Insulin resistance/ diabetes and fibromylalgia
Today I answered someone else's post and this led to discussions about sugar, diabetes and fibro. That led two of us to look at links, and we found recent medical papers saying there is a link, not sure which causes which. I am Insulin resistant, take Metformin and, while I have problems, I read what

Left or Right
I have type 2 diabetes and recently have been checking my glucose levels. I get different readings if I check from my left hand finger then immediately from my right hand! This morning left was 9.4 and right was 8.1. Is this usual?

What now
I have lost 4 stone in the past 18 months and got my blood sugar down to normal levels by cutting carbs increasing protein and fat... However, I have now been diagnosed with CHD which means no red meat and cutting down on white meat and low fat. My question is what do I eat now? Obviously LCHF is
