Struggling a bit to read it - but if that is 47g net carbs/64g total carbs that is still fair bit. Snazzy and I both have to get down to about 20g carbs to lose weight and I suspect that is total carbs though I can't remember. Snazzy will know I'm sure.
If that is the case, then to lose 300g is not bad - I didn't lose much more than that in a good month! Plus when you do change your diet your body can take some weeks to get used to it and retains fluid then suddenly loses it. Some call it the "woosh" effect it seems, claiming the fat cells fill with water and then it all goes suddenly. No they don't but the effect is there!
Main meal yesterday (lunchtime) Roast Pork, Cauliflower Mash, some butter fried brussels and half a tin of carrots (we don't normally eat carrots, just fancied a change) 1 soup spoon of Apple Compote for apple sauce (unsweetened)
Mid Afternoon tea with milk (as below) and 2 squares of 85% Chocolat Noir.
Supper
2 small pieces of Brie, 4 medium slices of Saucison, 1 slice of ham, 2 soup spoons of Mascarpone, half an Avocado, 5 cherry tomatoes and a handful of almonds.
1/4 cup of milk for tea in day and meds.
I think I am feeding us too much. (Comme d'habitude)
I think I am confused by the net....in carbs and calories. I understand it in Pay but not diet lol
The net doesn't really matter in my world - if what I'm eating doesn't work then I reduce until it does. Depends how much - but some veg can be a downfall. They are better than fruit but even so it all adds up. I suggested a look at dietdoctor - the pictures make it easy to see what is something you can have lots of and what not. Salad rule in this house!
Sorry this is late, only just seen your post. I do low-carb but not quite low enough to be keto, somewhere around 50g of carb per day. Having studied the topic it in-depth for a while now, including joining a few online keto groups, the main thing I still need to do is to quit milk. Dairy is fine - in theory anyway - butter, cream, cheese whatever, but not milk because the lactose is high sugar. I have tried to quit milk, I switched to Koko which was OK but made tea loook and taste like it was made with skimmed milk. I concluded life was too short not to enjoy a nice cup of decaf tea! I cannot tolerate oatley or any almond-based milks. Some people in the keto groups also have to cut down on the dairy to lose weight and have more fats from other sources eg olive oil, avocado oil, lard, fatty meat etc. All that said, I do still lose weight, albeit very slowly, we are talking maybe a pound or two a month, but that's still 'an off' compared to the horrific weight gain I used to get from Pred. My body shape has changed significantly though, the curves and bones are beginning to show again, so I go by that more than the scales. I also vary things with intermittant fasting, often only eating one meal a day, and rarely have breakfast ever, so cannot know for sure which aspect of my regimen works. I don't know if diet is having any effect on the PMR as I've still got it and it's still volatile, but maybe it'd be worse if I didn't do low-carb, who knows?
