Newbie introduction

Hi all, I’m pleased to say I’ve just started the C25K programme and had my first run yesterday. Really enjoyed getting my training shoes back on for the first time in a LONG time and happy to find that everything still works ok, albeit a little slower and a little bit harder to start!

Recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes which I’m using as a much needed wake up call to get active again and eat healthier.

Advice, encouragement and good humour is most welcome and I’m looking forward to being part of the C25K community.

I was you in January. Now I can’t wait to get out each run. Just stick to the App instructions. It works. Good luck.

Take time to do stretches after your runs - I learnt the hard way!

Oh no haha well you know exactly what I mean the. Honestly those few minutes of stretches after the run completely solved that for me!
