Help again.
Thanks everyone for their support and advice but still at times not doing so well. Having found this forum I now know I have Hashimotos and I am in the stage where I'm suffering from attacks. Following this forums advice I upped my meds ( I'm on levothyroxine was 100 to 125) to 150 mg. felt more normal

This is an update to my response to Orchardworker’s post 10 days ago. First a reminder of my background. I am a 65 year male and I was diagnosed with PAF in September 2014 although I probably had it for some years before that. At its peak I was having 3 episodes a week lasting up to 20 hours each. I

DaT Scan side effects
I've had a DaT Scan earlier this week and as a result I have a slight swelling of my neck where the thyroid is, also a slight discomfort in swallowing. I spoke to the doctor at the Nuclear Medicine department where I had the scan and he said that's due to the pills I took to protect the thyroid against

Too much magnesium?
I take a daily multi vitamin tablet which contains 100mg of magnesium and eat a couple of bananas a day, while I also eat a lot of oily fish and tend to have a small portion of rocket with many of my meals. About six weeks ago I read a thread on here about the beneficial effects of magnesium and decided

My poor hair, where is it going, down the plughole that's where. I look at myself in the mirror and my hair is just so straight and wirey. I am on 50mcg levothyroxine, I don't feel stressed as I take Ashwagandha and Rhodiola. I take good vit B complex, vit D, selenium, kelp, zinc, magnesium citrate
