It's either MM or the lucky socks...
FINALLY, on the fourth attempt I've cracked w6r3 on the pretend C25K. Honestly it was like finding the holy grail. I enlisted the services of MM (for enlisted read forced) and he kept pace beautifully. Even better, it seems he can't tell the time as he gave me the "only one more minute" pep talk just

Coughing and ataxia
Someone wrote about coughing - I just can't remember who, so am starting this post. I too get coughs and luckily the coughing bout started when I was with the Speech and Language therapist. She noticed that my swallowing was not proper. She wants me to do Videofluoroscopy. After this she can give me

Is PP more common when you give birth to a son??
Most of the stories I have read about women that have had PP have given birth to a son. I'm wondering if having a son could contribute to PP? Please comment 'boy' or 'girl' below. Cheers

Good career/job/school options for people with C-PTSD
My PTSD is Chronic and complex. Working with ANYONE is a challenge because typically people will just trigger me w/o even knowing it. I'm fine with getting triggered when it's a singular incident for the most part but when the triggers stack on top of each other and I get no accommodations, it can lead

Chronic Stomach Discomfort
Ok I'm sorry that this is probably the wrong category for this but I need serious help. I have been burping for 4 straight months now and have not been able to sleep well during that time. The burps are nonstop. My stomach always tightens up whenever I eat something; the best way I can explain it is

PP in the menopause ?
Hi Everyone, I am 60. I had the worst case of PP when I had my son 33 years ago. It was life threatening to the point were I was sectioned. After many attempts with meds, ECT - Electroconvulsive therapy did the trick. (Despite controversy). Previously I had no mental issues and they went after a

Part three. Useless GP visit follow on from Manchester
What can I say? As bad as expected?. Not received either the barium meal REPORT nor four page letter according to him. I gave him my copy. He glances through it. I say anaemia would tie in with my increasing tiredness and lack of energy to do minimal things. He looks at his screens, flit back and forth

Psychotic symptoms or OCD?
Hi I'm going to try not to babble but I don't really know where to begin .. I'd really love some advise as a therapist has mentioned that my thoughts are possibly psychotic but I thought they were anxiety. Since being a teenager I've struggled with anxiety / Ocd intrusive thoughts which has come

Trouble swallowing
I have dysphagia, shortness of breath, sore throat, itchy painful ears. A feeling that my throat is constricting and pain in my chest I know is costachondritis, I also have acid reflux, incredibly painful heartburn. Also I have dizziness when I bend over and stand from bending to the point where I crashed

Question about dissasociation
Can someone describe exactly how dissasociation displays itself? I've read some about it on the Internet but have not been able to make a connection between those descriptions and my PTSD. Maybe I just don't disassociate, but how do others experience this?
