I want to fight in a boxing match but only if I can raise awareness for PTSD. No one understands what the supporter and suffere go through and it's time to make the world a better and smarter place.

I really feel for you and how you have tried to help your friend and she pushed you away. That's very painful...

I think that raising awareness about PTSD is a good idea, since most people encounter some form of traumatic events in their life and don't even realize that it's trauma.

My suggestion would be that you partner with already established organization or charity. You could use that kind of support, experience and knowledge. Hope you can find the one that wants to be active in campaigning and where you can use your energy and creative ideas.

Michele Rosenthal is very successful in raising awareness about PTSD, through her publications, websites, radio shows and lectures etc.

Unfortunately, this forum is directed at providing peer to peer support for survivors and their supporters. We are not actively campaigning so cannot help you with that. But I really admire your dedication and proactivity!

Success!

Best wishes,

Nathalie
