Hiatus Hernia, SoD, loss of smell & taste...all linked?
An ultrasound revealed a
polyp
on my gallbladder so that was removed last April (2016). In October 2016 I was hospitalised with abdominal pains. I saw 3 consultants, the first said it was IBS, the second said it could be sphincter of oddi dysfunction then the third said it was an ulcer.

Endometrial hyperplasia
A little out of the blue I got a call from the medical director at our clinic yesterday who told me that having reviewed my pre-transfer
polyp
removal report I appear to have endometrial hyperplasia. Apparently a benign condition that involves the womb lining thickening / a grouping of cells.

Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
So the whole procedure was painless and took about 5-6 minutes, the doctor found a 4 mm sessile
polyp
which was removed within seconds with cold snare. The diagnosis on my report reads: rectal
polyp
.

And so it begins AGAIN
Those who have followed may recall, things wer put on hold for abit while the wife had a
polyp
removed... that's now happened, so we wer told to start round of injections again to prepare for FET ( hopefully in mid Jan), after the 1st lot of his injections, these don't seem so bad (yet).

Update on Removal of Polyp
Hi all.... just a quick update, so the wife had the
polyp
removed without GA. they removed it successfully but bless her, she was brave throughout. Still in abut of pain but as no major surgery was done, they also performed an endometrial scratch too.

FET and Time Off
Hubbie and I had egg collection end of November, unfortunately there was a
polyp
and this has now been removed. We are starting FET pretty soon (this Monday) and wanted to ask regarding time off from work , did you still take the two weeks off or how soon after transfer did you go back?

Resection of
polyp
with Hysteroscope then test sample of tissue to make sure nothing nasty is there. I do appreciate advice on here although I disappear for a while.

I'm new here
I've since had a sigmoidoscopy where a
polyp
was removed but my biopsy was clear and showed no inflammation, so my gastroenterologist has organised another blood test for inflammation and a test for coeliac but said she's sure it's ibs. I've had a very bland diet today but still in so much pain.

Have positive parietal antibodies but "good" colonoscopy and endoscopy results?
He removed a
polyp
from my stomach though and took a few biopsies of random tissue I have to wait on. But the question: is it normal to not have gastritis with pa? I have an AWFUL stomach with very little acid to digest really anything.

Polyps in womb
The nurse wanted to do an internal exam and she found a small
polyp
on the lining of the womb. Has anyone had this before and will it affect my appointment in the ivf clinic next week?

Please I really need more advice!
I've had abdo pain for quite a while at varying levels (3-4yrs+) and finally following many anal bleeds I was getting quite worried and ended up going to go and had a clolonoscopy to remove a
polyp
of 2cm.

Hysteroscopy
Hi Ladies, so found a
polyp
and can't go ahead with fresh egg transfer so need to do a FET. Was wondering if any of you have had a hysteroscopy?. Doctor has mentioned it is similar to the 3DSIS and that if I was ok with that then no need for general anaesthetic. Any advice would be appreciated
