First laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in 48 hours and just started breakthrough bleeding

I'm having a polyp removal by hysteroscopy and a diagnostic laparoscopy in two days and I've just started bleeding. I'm on the pill, so I'm guessing it's breakthrough bleeding. Pretty light, nowhere near a heavy period, but I'm worried this means the procedure will be cancelled! Has anyone else experienced this in the UK?

I'm having it on NHS but at a private Practice Plus Group hospital.

I'm having a hysteroscopy this week and been told that as long as it isn't heavy bleeding, it can still go ahead. They clean it out with water so you should be fine! You could always call and ask beforehand. And mention you have light bleeding and they can advise.

Hope all goes well for your procedures!
