Travel insurance which accepts recent investigations

My 18 year old grandson has recently had a colonoscopy (for loss of dark blood P/R) and a polyp was found, removed and the report says: "No malignancy".

He's already booked a flight to SE Asia, leaving on 10th February and needs reasonably priced backpackers' travel insurance. He understands he must declare this investigation and its result. Can anyone recommend a company that would accept him in these circumstances? Thank you.

Has he any more tests or results due? Or waiting to see a gastro?If the answer is "no" then that's simple there's nothing to add. If he is due any of the above then as long as its noted then you shouldn't have any issues obtaining travel insurance. Try Staysure they are reasonable with any pre existing conditions but they won't cover something that's being investigated

Hi, Viklou. Thanks for your helpful reply. As far as I know he isn't having any more investigations. I'll suggest that he tries Staysure.

All Clear Travel insurance are good as many standard companies only cover the first flight, not the on going journey. And they were great with my ailments.
