Pleurisy
Hi everyone, Started feeling unwell this afternoon and now have pleurisy.....its agony.....have taken ibuprofen and paracetomol which has helped with the fever so I do feel slightly better. Started out with laryngitis(again) and now a week later this. Think its viral as hubby has been unwell of late

Unexpected Pregnancy with APS
I had a positive pregnancy test this morning. Last year my OB/GYN told me that carrying to term could kill me. I'm at the doctor now, waiting. I've been switched (first call was to my hematologist) from Pradaxa to Lovonox shots. My husband doesn't know yet because he's at work. I start law school next

Pleurisy?
Hi there, has anyone else had pleurisy? It seems that's why I'm im so much pain. I had it really badly about 12 years ago so I'm pretty terrified at what's ahead of me but I'm hoping I've caught it a little earlier. Anyone know what treatment works for it? I'm on antibiotics but don't seem to be working

Pleurisy pain
Feeling good everywhere else but since having prednisone to help with a pleurisy flare, I'm still having pain going down to my right hip when I take a deep breath, my right ribs still feel it also but so minor. Does anyone else with pleurisy get pain that low down. I've looked up on the web to see

Medications, Supplements & COQ10
I am working on how I can stay as good as I can for as long as I can, without taking medications, unless I absolutely cannot manage without. I post this as after the recent debate about whether or not to take COQ10 and statins. I have just been to a local (in Spain so local to our house in Spain) clinic

Ketamine
Hi :) about two months ago I had a ketamine infusion, the docs told me it may make the symptoms ease, stay the same or make things worst. Unfortunately for me it made me worse for a couple of weeks and then back to how I was before the infusion. I'm slowly losing the hope so miserable. Start a mental

Feeling like a failure
Attempted Week 5 run 3 for the first time today and feeling deflated. I know I've been here before and spent weeks and weeks trying to get through Week 3 and managed it eventually but I repeated Week 5 run 2 five times before I even plucked up the courage to attempt the 20 minute run and I failed :-(

Sharp pains in legs
Is anyone else suffering with sharp stabbing pains in the front of their legs and side of hips? Used to my fibro pains but never had this horrible sickly pain. Now into my 4th week. My meds pregablin have been increased with no effect. Any suggestions to ease it very much appreciated. Gentle hugs on

Post-race bun report
I had been waiting to post my race reports in hopes of getting a photo of me running. There are several, ALL with my eyes closed. So you can have a picture of my first medal instead :) The race was early Saturday morning from a local small rural town through the countryside to a local farmer's market

Feel This Pain: Gastroparesis
New "Feel This Pain" video is up: Gastroparesis. More than just a little "tummy trouble," this disease brings pain and life-changing symptoms that don't just magically fade away. As always, the HD version looks nicer, so don't forget to click on it when the video loads. :-) https://www.facebook.com

Study: Recovery from Chronic Demyelination by Thyroid Hormone Therapy
2008 study. I am not sure there is any profit potential in this for pharmaceutical companies to be enticed to followup on this. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19109501

Tocilizumab Infusions
I have been told I will have to wait to start the above infusions due to shortage of beds in the local Hospital. Several people on here have advised they had to wait 4 months for the first infusion. I need to go overseas in August. I have only just been approved and if I have to wait 4 months it will
