Please with blood results please
I have just had a blood test and managed - at last - to get my Free T3 tested! I would appreciate some help in interpreting the results. I have been on T3+T4 (Nature Throid) since December (after stopping Levothyroxine). I take sub-lingual B12 and a daily multivitamin. I stopped my Nature Throid 36

Park run questions and advice please
Hi, I'm doing my first park run this weekend as my W9R1 and the park run I have chosen is 90% on grass. It has a tendency to get muddy apparently (it wasn't on a couple of weeks ago to allow the ground to recover a bit) and it's set to rain this weekend. I have some beautiful bright pink Ascis trainers

Chest pain
Hello again. I am 47, have lupus and, as such, am susceptible to bouts of pleuritic pain. Usually I get these checked out by the GP and have at times been admitted to hospital to rule out PE (I have no increased risk of clotting). This most recent attack struck at 10pm on Thursday whilst I sat watching

Thank you to everyone who wrote with advice and support when I found that after 33 years as a patient of the respiratory department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, they refused to admit me because I live over the border in Warwickshire, even though it was the clinical decision of my GP and

I am not trying to prove them wrong But!
I have a habit of looking into my conditions which seem to be growing? I tend not to look at the sites that make all sorts of claims to cures and the next thing to hit the streets. But at sites aimed at the clinical arena. The main problem is they use all these fancy names that take time to look up

Writing Stories...
I do find writing stories or articles easy enough...most especially when the gist of them come from personal memories where there is no need to be precise or exact over names and dates or places. Those I find more difficult are those which need to be factual...for instance, I began yesterday to write

has anyone tried coenzyme q10 for copd or IPF help?
I wondered how you found it if so. I came across this link which is why I am asking. It says Pao2 was significantly improved by taking it, and if that's right, many here may be interested in finding out more. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8241703

Many APS patients develop neurological symptoms in the absence of ischemia (stroke)
In reading this study on APS induced mice, the researchers made this blanket statement. "Many patients develop neurological symptoms in the absence of ischemia but the underlying mechanisms leading to these manifestations are not yet identified...... In conclusion, our results are the first to indicate

Dozzer19's report - Food Tech - progress Eating too much lead, chromium and sodium (are you with me am and kk?) so sent to Food Tech
Food Tech announced that likewise aluminium, bismuth and nitrogen had to be cut. Having spotted some gadolinium in a mirror I quickly agreed and left, filching said product as I passed. Am now planning secret meeting with tellurium.

Pleurisy
Merry Christmas everyone! I was diagnosed with pleurisy earlier this week, I've had pleurisy in the past and it is very painful. I was told that this is common in lupus patients. Does anyone know of anything that would help with the pain besides pain meds.
