Thank you to everyone.......
For all of you who offered prayers (at my request) for my family member (brother) who had surgery, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. My brother had successful surgery and is home from the hospital recovering. Your support, well wishes, encouragement and prayers were very much appreciated

Hi. I have very severe endometriosis and adenomyosis and am awaiting surgery which will likely involve having a stoma. I’ve previously had left ovary removed and both tubes and I’ve recently been told my right ovary is failing. Unfortunately there was been little improvement to my Endometriosis even

Tapering - have I overshot?
As per my bio. I was diagnosed with PMR in Sept 2023 and started on 15mg of Pred. Have been tapering at 4 week intervals from 15 to 12.5, then to 10 then 9 and then 8. So far so good. However, about 5 weeks ago I strained my back quite badly. Two telephone consultations with GP. At first, he prescribed

Hello everyone. For how long did you have pain after open heart surgery? I am 6 weeks after surgery. I do not have a constant pain but for the last 4 days I have pain in the whole chest area and back every time I stand up from sitting. Also when I stand up in the morning after sleep is painful everywhere

Heartened to know I am not alone in the struggles caused by pramipexole
I have had RLS and PLMD as long as I can remember. I’m sure all of those nights I struggled with symptoms as a child that were brushed off as growing pains…RLS. My mom suffers mildly. Unfortunately, both of my daughters also have many challenges that began as teens. What I’ve been through is so complex

TSH slowly creeping back up.
I’ve been here before (the forum) but lost all my logon details so I’ve re-registered. I’m hitting the usual brick wall with my GP, so I’ll try once more before I do something I’m unhappy about, but I’m getting desperate. Briefly, my TSH is slowly increasing. By which I mean that my most recent results

Ferritin Questions
Hi everyone. I self inject b12, 3x per week. I also take a daily dose of methylfolate. In the past both of these have been extremely low, along with very low ferritin. Of late I have wondered if my iron was dropping, so requested bloods a couple of weeks ago. Folate happily is pretty good at 19( at
