Plantar fasciitis and hypo
Bad bout of pf currently - that's inflammation of the tendon between heel and foot pad, very painful on first walking, very disabling, it's assoc with hypo, perhaps because general weakening of muscles causes weak arches and weak core body strength. Then the weight thing would make it worse OK and I

ITP Symptoms after 30 years
The only thing I can think that might have caused this is that I've been taking larger than normal qualities of Advil due to hip pain, shin splints and
plantar
fasciitis
not caused by running, but by various classes I take at the gym, mostly Barre classes. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Owww! My Poor Feet!
Apparently it is
Plantar
Fasciitis
, but I call it *insert expletive here*. The doctor gave me some helpful exercises to help alleviate it and suggested that I live in my trainers for a while. It won't stop me running, but it won't stop me moaning either. Please feel free to moan along with me.

New here, starting Couch to 5k
Last year I had awful
plantar
fasciitis
and gave up. This time I am trying to be careful, I did Day 1 twice, then had minor surgery so took a week off, this week I did Day 1 and Day 2. My inner calves are in agony. I think it's my soleus muscles.

update on post
Went to doctors and he has given the problem a name which is '
Plantar
Fasciitis
' - hooray - a name at least. Various causes, immunity problems, diet, liver problems (my ears pricked up) and I am seeing him about cortizone injections tomorrow. Ā

Another Newbie
I'm running very gingerly, trying not to trigger another bout of
plantar
fasciitis
which I first got running on a treadmill a couple of years ago. I'm icing Ā and stretching constantly and do feel a niggle or two but so far so good.

plantar
fasciitis
(in the morning but usually fine when in running tho) What's your thoughts on getting myself off the rails ??

Tending to the tendons.. and some running discount rewards to recommend
Had almost 2 weeks off after running my first 9k due to an overtraining injury to the back of my heel- either a bit of insertional achilles tendinitis or
plantar
fasciitis
or a combination.

I restarted c25k on Sunday after a long break due to
plantar
fasciitis
. I had got about as far as WK 6or7 but after 8 months I knew I needed to go back to the start. I'm glad I did.. Run 1, I ended up with hip and knee pain looking like I had a wooden leg!
