TMI but need advice?
Today I have had sudden diarrhoea, haven’t ate anything. When I first started taking metforming it did give me an upset stomach and diarrhoea but I got over it about 4 weeks later. Suddenly been loosing control over bowels like accidental trusting a trump turns out to be diarrhoea second it has happened

For the past 5 weeks I’ve been having this irritated feeling like I can’t keep still or breathe. I would go to the toilet for wee and then will feel like I need one 2 minutes later before bed. It’s started to affect me in the day It was fine when I started taking metformin but now it’s not affecting

Thinking about coming off metformin...
I was put on metformin a couple of years ago to help with my PCOS and regulate my periods. I take 1 500mg tablet a day and I’m just thinking about stopping it altogether and seeing what happens. Does anyone have any advice on this please, should I or shouldn’t I??

I've had several meters over the past just testing to check my symptoms and just for my own education not really really having to check my blood sugar at that time at this time I feel maybe I should be checking it once in awhile as my doctor wants to start me on Metformin does anyone know where you can

It's not all bad news
Hi there, Just joined. I just wanted to say some of the things that have really helped my pcos and my general health. I'm luck enough to have to young boys, both conceived after taking metformin. I've taken up running! Something I never ever thought I would be able to do, I was always last at any school

Adding PARP inhibitor (Olaparib) to the Standard Therapy (Zytiga/ADT/Prenosone)
I had an interesting and unexpected conversation with my "second opinion" MO. I went to see him regarding adding Metformin to my list of medications (He's a well known expert - more on Metformin later), but the focus of the conversation turned into adding Olaparib to my existing treatment regime of Zytiga

Is this more serious than what i think it is?
Ever since I was born I had constipation problems. I still get constipated a lot. I try taking laxatives to help but it makes my anal saw. I went to bed last night with extremely painful cramps like period cramps but I just finished my period. I’ve tried changing diet aswell but that doesn’t help.

TTC frustrations!
Hi! I'm new to this so please forgive me! My husband and I have been TTC for 2+ years - diagnosed with PCOS in 2011 - have been on Metformin 2G/500mg per day for 5 years and currently undergoing follicle tracking & hormone tests. Feeling really down in the dumps (more than usual!) - everyone around me
