My husband and I have been TTC for 2+ years - diagnosed with PCOS in 2011 - have been on Metformin 2G/500mg per day for 5 years and currently undergoing follicle tracking & hormone tests.
Feeling really down in the dumps (more than usual!) - everyone around me seems to be getting pregnant! which im totally happy for, although is making me feel like rubbish! people without fertility problems just dont seem to understand how we're feeling do they?!
Does anyone have any advice on how to be thinking more positively, as im feeling more and more depressed!!
thank you xx

It’s one hell of a journey that most people don’t understand. Sadly most people don’t want to. People generally don’t care until they’re directly affected by something themselves. Hang in there, on here we all know how you feel xx
Hi the while journey is pretty rubbish with alot of lows and a few highs thrown in for good measure usually in the form of the doctor saying something good for once. Just wanted to let u know ur not alone! This forum helps to feel less alone and misunderstood ❤
It’s so natural to go through lows when you’re dealing with fertility issues. I found counselling really helped me during some very dark days. If you’re open to it I think it could help you with the feelings you’re experiencing too xx
Unfortunately ive tried counselling and it hasnt seemed to help me One of our best friends has just announced her pregnancy after 'not even trying' and it has really knocked me for six! this weekend- it's been tough! just hoping that I can keep the hope going instead of focusing on the negatives. This group seems to be lovely. I think its just hard when people havent been through your struggles they just dont understand, so hopefully sharing our problems on here will help! xxxx
