Re Chronotherapy body clock and thyroid meds.
I find this interesting and hope it will help us all but I'm still trying to get my head around it. I know I'll never make a scientist. I read Paul Robinson's book and did some readings for him. He was kind enough to comment and I have been following his advice. Except for the early tablet. It seems

Whats the difference between Ultra scan or Thyroid Scintigraphy? When would they be used?
I've had an Ultrsound scan of my thyroid but I'm awaiting an appointment for a Thyroid Scintigraphy I think! I have Hashi's and my thyroid blood tests are all over the place due to negligence of GP and just wondered what test is best for looking at the thyroid gland?

Hi I'm hypothyroid and due to this have high cholesterol much of which is LDL bad cholesterol. The doctor sent me to an Endocrinologist who because I couldn't tolerate the statins I'd been put on suggested using 5mg a week and trying to raise it, but even that small dose was knocking me for six I could

Hi All Is it safe to take ursodeoyxcholic acid whilst breastfeeding?
I was diagnosed with PBC recently after having my second child, he is 7 month's old and I am still breastfeeding. I mentioned this to the consultant who said it would be okay to take ursodeoxycholic acid which he has prescribed on a dosage of 600 mg twice daily. However, on reading the leaflet it says

Naloxone Infusion
Has any one had the naloxone infusion? It's to treat my itching. I've been to see a dermatologist today and have to go in hospital for 5 days to start the treatment. I would love to hear if this has been a success for any pbc patients.

Bulimia and Hypo - Any links?
Does anyone know if the two are linked? I've been Hypo for many years along with being bulimic, I'm getting worried as the bulimia is getting really out of control. I have been taking T3 for around 6 months now and I'm wondering if this might have excelled the problem? Grateful for any ideas Thanks

Next steps
Following my letter to the endo, i am being sent for a short synacthen test. Any advice/thoughts about this? Should i stop nutriadrenal beforehand? Also the NHS result for TG antibodies was 1823 but I don't know the range. I've only ever seen it up to about 35\40. Does anyone know any different until

Jaundiced
Has anyone been jaundiced at all? Few people had commented to me about it x I got my bloods checked x was told that my lft was fine but that my billirubin was high x that's what had caused it. A nurse has told me that a number of things can cause it inc stress x at the time my mum was seriously ill.

My psychiatrist has stopped my T3 because the Director of Pharmacy from Staffordshire won't allow it. The NHS would rather spend £25,200!!
I suffer with Body Dysmorphic Disorder which is linked to low thyroid. Before I was on T3 my BDD was bad enough to be able to get inpatient treatment for 3 months which would cost the NHS £25,200. But I didn't need this after I went on T3. So now the NHS has stopped my T3 and I will end up having inpatient
