Dentists corporation
Three years ago, I was 'pushed' into PIP, about £9000 a year! Then my "dentist" has 'persuaded' me to 'join' their plan, whereby I have a checkup every six months, but any fillings, crowns etc, I have to pay for, [I was given a crown recently but told that since it was done on the NHS, later quietly

GRAVES AND THYROTOXICOSIS : THE SKIN
Patchy vitiligo is found in 7% of patients with Graves' disease, and we have observed several instances of complete loss of
pigmentation
in association with thyrotoxicosis. These
changes
are manifestations of associated autoimmunity directed toward melanocytes.

Nutrition helped soreness
I had the pain in ankle for some months. I looked up posts of Dr. John Byrd at Ohio State, an expert on umbrivica. He recommends magnesium, calcium, vitamin D supplements. It helped me. Best read his comments, not just mine.

Teva levothyroxine includes mannitol
I have received some information that the Teva brand of levothyroxine now includes mannitol in the ingredient list. We have received some reports that people are not very well on Teva and so I am interested to see how many people have been given this brand; whether their PIL states that it includes

How often do you get Cholestatic jaundice?
All, I got cholestatic jaundice last Easter (I have NRH of the liver due to my MPN & blood clots) and just wondered if anyone else has had repeat episodes of jaundice that are not due to liver cirrhosis? If so, how far apart have you had jaundice? Regards Mark

Painful digits!
I know several of mpn's sufferers have spoken of this problem before on here about our fingers & toes turning blue & painful. Researching it the only conclusion i can come to is because my mean corpuscular volume, (mcv's) are alway's so high which after more research is more than likely down to the high

Hanging in there
I'm a 63 year old female diagnosed with PV about nine and a half years ago. I have been on hydrea since then. In the beginning I didn't really feel that much different. Symptoms were minimal. Nowadays, exhaustion comes easy and is quite extreme. Some days it's difficult just to get out of bed and I never
