Nutrition helped soreness

I had the pain in ankle for some months. I looked up posts of Dr. John Byrd at Ohio State, an expert on umbrivica. He recommends magnesium, calcium, vitamin D supplements. It helped me. Best read his comments, not just mine.

Calcium/Vitamin D3 is a more commonly available combination supplement than Calcium and Magnesium, but irrespective, I wouldn't take any supplements until you talked to your doctor. Taking more calcium than you need could possible affect your kidney function and increase your risk of (extremely painful) kidney stones:

Trilpub, I too would be interested to read what Dr Byrd has to say. I couldn't find his comments via an Internet search.

Not to worry I don't take anything without clearing with my doctor. I read your article regarding the warnings. I take epsom salt baths. they are probably safer.

I had a good long search for Dr Byrd's recommendations for treating pain with nutrition. I haven't found it yet but I did find about 10 short videos of him discussing Ibrutinib and CLL. I haven't watched them all but there may be something there. Interesting stuff nonetheless. onclive.com/specialist/John...

Antioxidant rich foods help reduce inflammation and decrease muscle soreness. One of the easiest ways to get an adequate amount of antioxidants and carbohydrates is by drinking tart cherry juice. ... Ginger and turmeric are other sources of food high in antioxidants.
