Jaw popping
I have had this issue since Jan. I am afraid to eat and have lost 11 pounds. When I sit at the table you never know if my jaw is going to go out of place and start crunching or popping. I have had several physio treatments and no help. I have now been off prednisone for six months after being on it over

Hello, I have very mild type 1a and am wondering if this is a symptom. Over the past 2 weeks my left leg dorsiflex muscles have been feeling strange. It isa ike a weak tingling sensation and it gets worse when I wake up or am sitting down. It doesn't get better or worse after a stretch or physio.

Don't know what's going on with my feet!!
So, I injured my left ankle a couple of months ago and couldn't run for three weeks. Then I went for a couple of very short runs, left ankle was fine, but my right knee was agony! Back to the physio. Didnt run for another couple of weeks, during which time both of my feet had strange twinges, at times

I admire her determination
Back in September another group of mums decided to take up the C25K after seeing our progress. Unfortunately, one had to stop as she could not even complete the 5 minute brisk walk. Whilst out on a run a few months ago we met this woman (who knows my running buddy) and she had told us about her problem

Spirometer ball?
Anyone here use an incentive spirometer? The respiratory physio came and dropped one off for me to do. Wants me to use it 4 times a day. It's on the bottom level and it was a struggle!

Fibromyalgia- confirmed
I had a brilliant appointment this morning and f2f too .. can’t beat a f2f. I presented my scroll 📜 of ailments . Confirmation of fibromyalgia really explained things well. Some symptoms need further exploration especially my nerves in my feet and other things so will see a neurologist. Physio booked

Sprained Ankle and running 🏃♀️
I sprained my ankle in February, slipped on black ice while out for a gentle stroll with a friend. It was ironic given that I have managed to run through snow, sleet, slush and black ice through the winter. Physio confirmed no permanent damage but no running was advised until the pain stopped. After

A big hello and please help me !!!
I ignored it at first, then two months later, I went to the doctor who sent me to
physiotherapy
. It didn't help. It had spread to upper back and shoulders and pains in fingers. Then in December, it all got worse I got pain in my joints; in my knees, elbows, fingers, ankles.

Week 1 - Run 3
Sunday 2nd May 2021 Week 1 run 3 completed After my surgery I have been getting out of breath quicker but managed the 60 seconds which is my first landmark. I have been walking regularly for 4 months as part of my physio and this definitely helped. Onwards and upwards to week 2 see you there

Frustrated!! 😫
Hi I was diagnosed with FND a few years ago although until last year i was always treated as an attention seeker/time waster. My first symptoms involved paralysis from the waist down & i was given minimal input so it took a very long time to get back to walking. Since then I've had several relapses which

The Value of a Good Compounding Pharmacist, a True Story
Although I generally write about supplements, sometimes supplements are simply not enough and prescription meds can be beneficial in different forms that doctors and patients are sometimes not aware of. To ignore that fact is folly on the patient's part in my opinion. I am writing this true story to

Progression
Completed C25k a while ago and have progressed to being able to run 5k in 46 mins. Know it is slow but I am 65 and getting back into running after trying 20 years ago. I normally run on grass as I understand it is better for knees. I avoid hills as I find it hard on my knees I am doing the recommended

Sore Hips Do I Carry On?
I had tears in both hips and had surgery and
physiotherapy
to fix this. My hips continued to lock and were sore on any kind of high impact exercise. I was advised to accept my baseline and avoid anything high impact. That was 8 years ago.

Is this how it feels?
Last year I tested positive for Covid 19. This hit me with a super force, it has been a 7 month battle and the dark times were more frightening than I wish to go into. In this my doctor tested my blood and lupus came into the equation. My family and I were startled by this list of ailments and symptoms
