I AM NOT SERONEGATIVE!
So it has taken me 3 ½ years and nearly 2000 miles to finally be diagnosed and treated, despite going the best hospitals in NYC. I went to see Dr. Jill Schofield in Denver, CO this spring. As some of you know who have read my earlier posts, I became severely ill in the end of 2012. After 3 weeks of

Persistent Bloating
Hi all, first time in here but wanted some advice. I've gained around 2 stone since last summer and my stomach is constantly bloated. I never used to carry any weight on my stomach and now its bloated at the top and bottom all of the time which has been the case for around 8 months. It's really painful

Still having diarrhea 1 month after laparoscopy...
So it's been now over a month since my laparoscopy, almost 6 weeks actually. I had occasional bouts of diarrhea like maybe once in a month or less before the surgery, and bowel endo was suspected. There was nothing on an MRI though and nothing found on the bowel during my laparoscopy. There was endo

Any idea what this could be?
So I'm 19 and I haven't really acclimated to working and going to school at the same time, so I'm stressed out a lot. A couple days ago, I started experiencing some sharp pains in my lower stomach, close to my private area. Then, I noticed that I hadn't passed stool in a couple of days. I took some magnesium

Peppermint oil capsules
Hiya has anyone had a bad reaction to these? I started taking them yesterday and today have had the most awful diarrhoea. I was taking them to help with trapped wind etc. I just wouldn't have thought they would upset my stomach like that. They are the 50mg.

Nocturnal foot and lower leg cramps - Eliquis
I had my first and hopefully ONE and ONLY episode with AFib over a month ago due the fact that I had consumed 3 mai tai's at a party. Being essentially a non-drinker this put me into major AFib and I was taken to emergency and had a Cardioversion. After the Cardioversion I was put on Eliquis for 4 weeks

Non-Drinker had an episode of atrial fibrillation and ended up needing a Cardioversion
Hi I have some questions. I am a non-drinker, only once in a blue moon will have a glass of champagne. However a couple weeks back I went to a party and decided to drink that evening. I had 3 mai tai's and ended up in the ER the next morning. My blood pressure was 70/47 and my heart rate got up

ENTERIC COATING....MAY NEED SOME WARNINGS
Having just gone through my worst flare of my 15 months of actively dealing with GCA and PMR......I've ended up spending most of my time in bed with time to think. Hubby and I have done some posting about our decision to split my daily dosage ( 18mg ) to relieve some of my morning PMR pain. For three

Peppermint oil
Hi, I've bought some peppermint oil capsules today (Colpermin) but I'm a little confused how to take them. Do you just take them for relief during flare ups or are they intended to be taken regularly in an attempt to stop flare ups altogether? I often go a few weeks or more with no symptoms so I thought

IBS relief
I just accidentally stumbled across this blog of IBS suffers. I've had IBS for over 20 years. I have recently discovered some relief, that I thought I would share with you. It won't help everyone but has helped myself and my daughter immensely. I started taking Fennel (capsules) and Peppermint Oil (capsules

Whew! Done and dusted.
Well, that was as easy as it gets, I think. I'm even home already with no overnight stay after all. Doc says he only had to do a couple of touchup spots on the left side and couldn't induce any other activity at all. Not experiencing any arrhythmia at all now , either, but will take flec as precaution
