Migraines and medical marijuana
Hi there, has anyone tried medical marijuana for migraines? I read a scientific report online from the New Scientist claiming the data is not complete yet to produce concrete proof of its pain reduction capacity. I did however, read it is good for neuropathic pain. So are migraines technically neuropathic

How much T3 do you take?
Ok, so I've been experiencing some major hypo symptoms these past 3-4 months: hair loss, brittle nails, wrist and finger pain, and worst of it all - tens of thousands of skipped beats (palpitations) every day first thing in the morning. I know all these symptoms vanish at FT3 level above 6 (reference

SOLUTION?
Ahhhh, got sleep last night by using a "Tens Unit" I got out of Boots chemist. It is a small electronic gadget bout size of phone with leads you insert in which have rubber pads you stick on to skin, which in turn pulsate on muscles where you place them at different intensites. Put 2 behind each knee

New to community & this is my meningitis story
In October of 2014 I became ill with what I thought was the flu. My temp was 102.9 for about 24 hrs before going to an urgent care facility. I live in the US. While at the facility, I was taken to a room & was asked to submit a UA. Not long after a nurse came in & stated I had signs of a kidney infection

Pelvic pain, over 3 years of searching for a doctor to help! Now one game plan, fingers crossed!
Hi! New here. Over 3 years of pelvic pain! I think it qualifies as chronic at that point? Started with my doctor not doing any tests, when I went to see her once, to tell her I was in some unusual pain, burning, stinging and it would not go away. She didn't acknowledge anything. She did not ask me to

Question about LDN and RA blood results. Please Help.
Hello. I'm a 36 year old male. I have recently been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis after years of chronic pain and health issues. My RA doctor came to this conclusion after I tested positive to the "anti-ccp" blood test. Normal levels should be under 20... my levels were 1,600. Though my inflammation

T3 supplement for hypothyroidism (on Thyroxine)
I've been on Levothyroxine since diagnosis in 1993, and about a year or so after birth of my second child in 1985 I started to gain a lot of weight, was always tired (not anaemic) my hair started to thin badly but initial investigations did not show anything apparently. I moved house and had to change

Shingles Vaccination
Hi all could someone please tell me if you can have the shingles vaccination if you're on methotrexate as it's a live vaccine. My GP surgery keeps leaving messages to tell me I'm entitled to it. I know its awful but I just don't trust them to get it right.

Hello, Hope some one can help. I have just received a bite from our dog (we were playing and my hand hit her tooth and broke the skin) I have rung the doctors and they have asked me to go and get a tetanus booster, but I am unsure as to whether I can have it whilst on Etanercept. Has anyone else had
