Thyzotomy
At a last resort my pain Dr says he can do a rhyzotomy , in dec. their is nothing that they can do, IV had everything done to my back over the last year, . He said if this don't work, next option is to see a neurosurgeon yet again to see if he will do anything for me , I'm so frustrated, I hate all

Newbie awaiting diagnosis
Hi, I'm new here and as the title says I'm in for the long haul of waiting for a diagnosis. For the last 6 weeks or so I have been crippled with pain in most of my joints and muscles, swelling in my feet, hands and legs. At times I can swear it is like a paralysis working down my body as everything seems

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice and experiences that Vasculitis sufferers have with Peripheral Neuropathy. Chronic Meningitis because of an insect?
After 9 months they finally diagnosed my numbness and nerve pains. Chronic meningitis. Does anybody that has been bitten by an insect in the Seychelles experienced a chronic meningitis as well. Because my neurologist does not believe that the cause of my chronic meningitis is a virus or a bacteria. And

Second pudendal nerve block
Since receiving a diagnosis of pudendal neuralgia earlier on this year, I will be attending wythinshawe hospital again soon for my second pudendal nerve block. Last one was done trans-vaginally but Dr DeMello now has the ability to use DR guidance to administer the nerve block via my buttock region.

New to this... Tried everything for post surgical pain.
Hey. I've never really used a forum like this before although I have read them. I'm 22 years old and had lung surgery 3 years ago following a pneumothorax which couldn't be resolved. My lung is generally okay now but I've been left with chronic pain around my ribs on the side and at the top of my chest

New to HealthUnlocked, have Peripheral Neuropathy and need support.
I'd been tripping over for many years, it became a bit of a joke and I thought that I was just clumsy. Around 2 years ago, I was sent for physio for my shoulder and mentioned pain in my back and weakness in my right foot, having suddenly developed a 'flat foot'. From here I was sent for a 'nerve block

Nerve blocks
After waiting 15 months i finally had nerve blocks at the pain clinic! Hopefully they will help and I can reduce the huge amount of painkillers I take every day. I spoke to my consultant about further treatment - pulsed radiofrequency ablation for my inguinal neuropathy - unfortunately it is no longer

My new tens machine
Hi all. Thought I would come on here and read posts/reply, as I can't sleep...again! I recently bought myself a tens machine from Lloyds chemist. It was only a cheap one in the sale, but my physio said not to pay too much for one, as they don't work for everyone. I have used it on my lower back and leg
