Looking for hope
Our first ICSI round just failed and I’m feeling so dejected. This journey just seems to get harder. We have no frosties so back at square one. Can anyone share positive stories or coping strategies during the wait before the next round. I feel like I’m going loopy and can’t think about anything else

hope I'm in right place. Couple hours ago posted but it wound up in pmr/gca site! After Covid had declining gfr into 40s...now trending back up to 60. Have proteinuria for which I take losartan 50 mg. Renal ultrasound and biopsy did not reveal cause or damage. Nephrologist says I'm bit of a puzzlement

covid vaccination
I have Hemiplegic Migraine with very severe aura symptoms and hypersensitivities including to perfume and chemicals that have stopped me so far from daring to have the vaccination. I paralyse frequently. This leads to complete isolation. I need an operation and so am thinking about having the vaccination

Another baby.
Hi all, I have my son who is 3 by ICSI treatment but I’d love another baby, only thing is we haven’t got £10,000 to spend! What do I do?! Also trying so hard to work out if it’s the best for us, what if it doesn’t work? I literally dream of having another baby it’s tearing me up 😞 not sure what I

BFN:gutted
Hi all, got my first BFN this morning, devastated. Im 39 and managed to get 5 eggs from 3 follicles, 1 got through to a 5 day blastocyst which resulted in a fresh transfer through ICSI. Hoped so much it worked as I have a blocked fallopian tube and a low AMH/reduced ovarian reserve but it wasn’t to

Referred for ICSI due to male factor infertility
Hello, I am new here and this is my first time writing on a forum. Myself and my partner have been referred for ICSI due to extremely low sperm count. We are both struggling with this realisation and I had expected we would be offered some treatment prior to ICSI but due to the severity of my partners

GCA morphing into PMR?
Hello dear friends: I’ve been on the GCA journey almost 3 years now and I am down to 1 mg prednisone. I’ve been under terrible stress especially the past week but continuing for a couple months. And suddenly now and I am almost off of prednisone for GCA, I have fear that PMR is kicking in. Bad neck

cervical polyps/ecroption
Hello, has anyone had any experience with multiple cervical polyps or ecroption? I have an appointment with my GP and am very nervous. I had bleeding after intercourse once and then some blood tinged discharge the week before my period. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.

Bunny Rabbits, Eggs and lots of Deer.
Just before Covid, I had entered a 5k Easter run at Chasewater, a venue just around the corner from my in-laws. All plans of a weekend running with a family Sunday lunch to follow, were lost to Covid restrictions and I ran the 5k as a virtual run at home. This Easter Sunday I woke up in my SIL’s house

Benlysta Side Effects
I had my first Benlysta Infusion last Tuesday and a few days later I began having fevers at night and early in the mornings. I also have crushing pain in my neck and chest. I'm thinking that I shouldn't take the drug again. Has anyone else had this or similar symptoms and did it get better allowing

AFib and cold showers
Hello amazing community, My PAFs usually begin in the early evening or at night in bed. I am wondering if my cold shower regime really helps end them or might just be random. The last few times when I get up in AFib in the morning, I shower/douse myself with freezing water to get the "gasp effect

Update
Hola Gents, I have not posted in a while. MO started me on Zytiga; I was off that after 2 weeks. Mid-January I got a UTI. Took a vacay to Aruba. The day I finished antibiotics for the UTI, I tested positive for Covid. Spent 5 days in my hotel room. Just glad I had an ocean view room and a balcony.

Biologics
Hi everyone I phoned the nurse help line before Easter and found they are going to put me on the biologic Etanercept and I was told I’d get a telephone appointment and that it would be Sciensus delivering the injections. My blood tests have all come back, no sign of TB, but positive for Zoster which
