Holistic treatments

Morning all,

So am waiting a lap to confirm suspicion of endo.

Stopped Pill 3 years ago to try for a baby.

2 years ago got diagnosed with a 6cm cyst with blood but not a endometrioma. Interestingly the male SHO told me it was small and shouldn't have been in so much pain - only found out it was 6cm when i saw the gynae consultant (who is absolutely lovely)., it has resolved now!

Ongoing pain since then - daily pain is burning the right hand side. flare up involve stabbing, increased burning all over abdo and down my leg and back. Spend my flare ups thinking im going mad! such bad tiredness, clumsiness and brain fogg!

I take codeine, paracetamol and ibuprofen when i need it, however am wondering if anyone has had any positive effects with holistic pain relief treatments (accupuncture, reflexology, herbal etc..)

I'm so desperate i will try anything!!

Hey,

I have had 3 sessions of acupuncture in the last 10 days and I have had some relief around my abdomen, pelvis and lower back. I plan to keep going really. After reading NHS website (nhs.uk/conditions/acupunctu... I found them on the accredited register at the bottom of the page.

I had good results using homeopathy and nutritional therapy which helped my pain and other endo symptoms. It didn't happen overnight, but I definitely noticed difference when I took out inflammatory foods, like wheat and sugar and put in more anti-inflammatory fruit and veg.
