Pain After Egg collection

Anyone has the cramping pain after Egg collection? If so how do you manage? How long it will persist? I had mine yesterday and today I am having cramping pain,took paracetamol, but not relieved . Can I use hot water bottle?

Heya. In my experience it gets better after a day or two…. And yes, I think a hot water bottle is fine after egg collection, just not after the embryo transfer hope you feel better, I felt rotten after my last collection but back to normal after 3 days or so x

I had pain right after my egg collection and was given a heat pad. After paracetamol it subsided a few hours after. Was told can use co codamol, codeine or paracetamol though, just not ibroprofen. So maybe something stronger if it persists. Good luck x

Take it easy and try to rest - discomfort will settle with pain killers as advised by your clinic Take care
