Day 4 after circumcision

Day 4 is out of the way! Last night the stitches started to itch big time! However not today! How weird! Today the swelling was real but after taking ibuprofen and paracetamol the swelling seem to have gone down. I still see some blood dots (really small dot) when I change my bandages, hope that’s normal! Looking forward to these dissolvable stitches to go away! Hope everyone’s recovery is going well!

Hey man. How's your healing process now? Swelling gone down?

Heya, turned out my wound was infected. Been taking antibiotics for the last 4 days and the swelling is almost gone! No more pain near the crown, just some sharp pains where the frenulum was. Not much can be done I think apart from keeping up with Vaseline and try not to rub the area against clothing

That's awesome! What was the indication that it was infected- the swelling?

Very swollen (more than the first few days post op), it started discharging some foul smelling blood and pus together, plus the wound site felt very hot to the touch and red
