How long did you have PMR symptoms before your Diagnosis?
Thinking about how long I had PMR symptoms before my Diagnosis, the best I can come up with is about three years. Never heard of PMR until my Diagnosis. I thought I had age-related arthritis like I was given to understand many older folks get. My former Dr. had zero interest/help when I complained

Post stents thoughts and feelings
Hello my lovely heart family Well it’s been just over 24 hours since my procedure of one stent in RCA. In my opinion I have been so far a rollercoaster of emotions... here is my personal thought processes that I have had whilst analysing my condition ... I will start with my positive thought process.

End of life medication?
My father is in final stages of PSP, has been in bed for months including being on oxygen most of the time. He is currently running a temperature and had a strange lapse into limp unconsciousness. His temperature has since returned to normal but it seems odd and the GP says probably best not to send

lymph nodes in groin???
was just drying myself after shower and was stunned to see a whole bunch of what I assume to be lymph nodes in my left groin. There were about 5 or 6 and really prominent. They started to go down a bit after I had been feeling them and by the time I took the picture - but you get the general gist.

Paracetamol and Levothyroxine
I had a knee replacement 8 weeks ago and although I am recovering well, I still need to take painkillers and will for some time apparently. I no longer need to take strong painkillers (Morphine etc.) but am on 2 paracetamol 4 times a day. I have to take my last dose at 10 (ish) when I go to bed as, even

CBD to help endo&IBS pain?
I started smoking weed socially about 2 years ago (maybe once a month). I noticed how much it helped my endo pain alongside my IBS AND my sleep. My pain has been excruciating at the moment and I cannot smoke weed all the time ( due to living with parents, money etc). I’ve done a lot of research on CBD

Over the counter painkillers
Hi, I’m new on here. Just been struggling with odd pain over the past week and it seems similar to fybromyalgia. Don’t want to bother the GP for now, am trying to manage pain with paracetamol but it’s not working very well. Any suggestions for self managing? Thanks

A couple of thoughts..💔
Good Morning friends, I had a good nights sleep all considering, I woke up at 5am. I thought I’d be in pain during the night (so I took a paracetamol just after dinner), but I wasn’t. No bleeding at all. When I woke up I thought how quickly my body has reset: my breast has shrunk and gone back to normal

Good afternoon
Good afternoon everyone. Well I am now in isolation. I have a head cold with a chest infection. It is related to my asthma but, I am immune compromised due to medication for AIH and PBC overlap, plus hashimoto's and asthma. I currently take budesonide and urso until I see my consultant or rather speak

Post lap periods
I had a laparoscopy last month and yesterday came on my period. It’s my second period since the lap. Last months was painful but no worse than usual. With this one however im in the worst pain I’ve experienced in a long time. I’ve been continuously cramping since about 11pm last night with no relief.

Pain in lungs?
Hi, It’s been 3 years since I was diagnosed with mild Bronchiectasis and to be honest have only had a couple of infections, so I’ve been very lucky indeed. However this means I haven’t gained confident in treating myself with the rescue antibiotics etc. Over the past few days I’ve had really bad pains

Leaving back pain behind
First post ...want to celebrate having smashed level 4 this morning. 60 yrs young.. chronic lower back condition and part of my pain control is supposed to be the unobtainable paracetamol. Running (of sorts)on on rough terrain and hoping that my new lung capacity will also be of benefit if I have to

Anti inflammatories and Corvid
A neighbour who works for the nhs has just been sent a medical alert that they must not prescribe anti inflammatories for anyone with the virus as it makes the illness worse, especially in younger people.
