My husband had heart failure on 6th November, I gave CPR until the paramedics arrived and they took over and shocked his heart twice. He’s made a great recovery but then was back in hospital 13th-23rd Dec with blood clots in lungs, was treated and meds altered for this.
My worry now is that is suffering from chest pains, sometimes it’s like a stabbing hot pokers pain, sometimes it’s tight like pressure on his chest and sometimes it like the pain runs from one side to the other of his chest!
Understandably he does not want to call an ambulance due to the covid19.
We’ve called ambulances in January and February and his ecg always ok and the bloods show no heart problems. He’s had two Cardio echo gram and both show heart to be in better condition than they had expected!
We mention it when he was at the consultation and again when we saw the haematologist and have contacted the doctor who did blood test that we are waiting the results from!
Just don’t know wether he should be up and about more or resting? I want him moving more and he wants to rest because paracetamol not really helping and he’s been told not to take anything else! The spray doesn’t help either!
What to do?
