Cellulitis in Breast?
Hi all, I have suffered from lymphoedema in my arm for three years as a result of breast cancer surgery - partial mastectomy- and lymph node clearance. I think I might have acquired cellulitis in my breast. This morning I had a rash which has now developed and looks as if my breast is scalded. My husband

Inflammation of the liver and glandular fever
Hi, Just been diagnosed with a horrible virus and I’ve been feeling dreadful for 10 days now with fluey aches, severe headaches and night fevers. I was using paracetamol to lower my temperature but have just been warned against it because my liver is inflamed - probably due to the viral infection. Does

Dis-appointment
Update Hello all. Well today I had my first f2f with the consultant since diagnosis and you can probably tell from my title that I am not happy. In fact I am really, really, really p'd off. She was very pleasant and not at all dismissive but she didn't examine, said she agreed that if I have seen

Long lasting headache
Hi, I'm new to this group prompted by a headache I've now had for around 2 weeks. It's not severe but constant. Because I'm on warfarin I can only have paracetamol or cocodamol. I avoid the latter. I've tried online yoga and a support pillow but still hasn't shifted. I get neck and shoulder aches so

Gabapentin/Pregabalin - Who is actually finding this helps their RLS?
There has been a lot of advice on this Forum about A2B Ligands being first line of treatment (?) and I was thinking there must be a lot of people out there who were advised to come off DA's (slowly) and go onto these Ligands. Then I am reading a lot of posts of people whereby these Ligands stop working

A-typical Raynaud's
My diagnosis is a-typical Raynaud's because it is not the classic white finger syndrome. In cold weather mine starts with a pink sore area on a finger, which spreads over weeks into a larger area and to other fingers, red, swollen, sore, skin splits over the knuckles. This winter (202/21) I had it for

Back Pain after HA in October 2020
I have a terrible sore back since having my HA. Sometimes it feels postural and I get relief if I put a cushion at my back. I also sometimes get a sharp pain right through centre of my back between my shoulder blades , happens at rest as well as when moving . Paracetamol doesn’t put either away. Does

About my hospital experience
Thank you so much for all your kind comments and good wishes, it is very much appreciated. For Beachballs, this is my ninth year since diagnosis so you have a long way to go yet, look after yourself. I had the Oxford vaccine, had no side effects maybe because I take paracetamol frequently and I was

Advice about referral and the right thing to say
I really need advice on what to ask my GP for to get my issue solved. I have had lower abdominal pain and discomfort for about 2 and a half years. February 2020 I went to my doctor about it. I described: fatigue, bloating, period cramps when it wasn't my period, painful ovaries, periods every 22 days

Hypochondriac or not ...... 🤔
My husband thinks I’m an hypochondriac ! I have recently broke my fibula. I have lupus SLE and fibromyalgia and APS. My pain in my leg is still really painful. I’m taking 2 x paracetamol, pregablin and tramadol, none of which gave me much relief. Do you think I am a hypochondriac ?

Oxford vaccination
Morning all, just thought I would comment on the oxford vaccine side affects. I had it and ,yes was a bit poorly for 2 days, headache, fever etc ,but with a bit of rest and paracetamol I was fine on the third day. But I had and still have ( a red sore arm) and it's about 3 inches across. This is 10 days
