Covid vaccine (moderna) #1

Grateful to receive vaccine. A little soreness day of. More arm soreness next day and as day went on felt worse: no energy, headache, slight fever, difficulty walking, took acetaminophen twice. Helped! Gradually better and slept well last night.

Now Prepared as 2nd shot supposed to be worse. Because I’m on Ocrevus and immune response blunted, I truly did not anticipate side effects...maybe means it will be effective 🤞🤗

I think they said if you get some sort of effects that the vaccine is doing its thing, hope you are feeling better.

Great news that you were able to get the vaccine. I had no side effects from my first Moderna dose. My second dose caused a 24 hour low grade fever and also briefly worsened my MS symptoms. To me, any side effects are a good sign to someone on Ocrevus. Yay for Erash!

Curious when you received the vaccine versus your infusion schedule.

Midway. 3 months after and before infusions. 2nd vaccine will be 1 month before the next infusion. I was very fortunate re. the timing I was offered to get the vaccine 👍

Drink A LOT of water for your next shot and take Tylenol/Ibuprofen every 6 for the next shot. I too am on Ocrevus and had my 2nd shot Friday. Don't let up with the hydration and NSAIDS. Shot at 4pm Friday, by Sunday morning felt perfectly normal.

Every 6 post shot?

I did, my joints were aching, low grade 99.6 fever. Motrin took the edge off so I could function and get stuff done.
