In so much pain from passing large clots… I really hate my uterus. Fed up! 😢
My usual dose of painkillers isn’t working for my adenomyosis & Endo pain this month. I came on yesterday. I think this month is extra painful because I took the Norethisterone to delay my period for my holiday and I regret taking it so much if that’s what’s causing this unbearable pain. Been in tears

Moderna!!
So here I am.....in bed feeling as rough as I've done for some time, and more than just a little sorry for myself. Yesterday morning, I went for my 5th covid vaccination and was given Moderna this time....I've previously had two AZ and two Pfizer with absolutely no adverse effects. Throughout the day

My mum has been diagnosed with PSP for few years now. She is complaining a lot of pain “cramp” in her leg. She is on 200mg gabapentin and paracetamol. She was very distressed today with the pain . I wonder if this is muscle spasm and if anyone can help with relieving the pain. I have a phone call with

5mg and sticking but a question.
From my last posts about 1 month ago you will see I raised my dose from 3mg to 8mg for about 8 days then dropped back to 5mg. Been there since then. Was going along ok with just a few aches a.m. but was planning to stay here fttb to make sure all ok ( as PMR Pro suggested). End of last week a few events

GP refusing rheumatology referral
My daughter who is 44 has all the symptoms of PMR, with pain not responding to paracetamol. Even though she is now struggling to dress herself her doctor is refusing to refer her to rheumatology. Instead he has referred her for an xray!!! Why, surely pmr doesn't show on xray? He said he cant refer her

Can overdoing it cause a flair
I've been doing fine on 3mg for a while. I'm a gardener and was hedge cutting a low but wide hedge last Tuesday. Bending over, arms outstretched welding a heavy petrol hedge cutter. Bad idea on reflection. That evening I had bad back ache and since then it's got worse rather than better. I can literally

What pain killers can I take when on HU?
I am experiencing terrible pain in my left hip/ thigh and leg and slept for only one hour last night. I had an X-ray and blood tests on Wednesday and await the X-ray results. Nothing was broken luckily. But meanwhile I am taking paracetamol every four hours which really doesn’t do much. As I’m on Hydroxycarbamide

6dp5dt illness
Hi, I had my FET last Tuesday making me 6dp5dt. Yesterday I started with a sore throat and today I am aching all over (mainly hips, groin and lower back). I’ve done a covid test and it’s negative. I feel absolutely horrendous and can obviously only take Paracetamol. Do you think this is going to completely

Gabapentin not working
I’ve just increased Gabapentin to 900 mg at 800 mg I was still waking up at 2.00am with agitated legs but 1 or 2 paracetamol would settle them after about 30 minutes. I took 300 mg at 7.30 pm and 600mg at 9,30pm I woke up at 3.30 am legs were worse than night before, paracetamol did nothing. Ended up

Covid, Paxlovid and Tocilizumab
I am two months away from tapering my fortnightly injections of Tocilizumab for GCA, diagnosed in April 2020. I have been taking it for nearly two years. The only other regular meds I take are Levothyroxine, daily vitamin D and paracetamol when needed. Yesterday (Friday 10 June) I tested positive for

TCZ 7 months in, and tapering Pred,- update.
Hello friends ! Long post, hope it’s of use to someone…! Since early April I’d been intending to write an update on my progress at my 6-months-on -TCZ- point . There had been a request on the forum here for info at that time, and I’d reached zero Pred point, on my rheumatologists scarily fast taper

I have had debilitating pain every since my periods started. Every time they come I pass out in such a severe level of pain, I become delirious, loose my vision and ability to talk, get pins and needles everywhere, extreme nausea, hot sweats etc. I was told 5 years ago I’d grow out of it, but it’s got

Excruciating Pain!
Last Friday I had severe pain. I’ve been laying in bed most of the week as the pain walking is unbearable. My husband took me to Immediate care and after an X-ray. They say it’s schlerosis in the L4 vertebrae that’s impinging on a nerve. Other than taking ibuprofen and acetaminophen there is no solution
