Hi I’ve just been diognosed with moderate emphysema my doctor called me at 7.10 in the morning and and I have another telephone appointment in 8 weeks time no leaflets or information nothing I’ve been getting bad pains in my shoulder blades and back and arms as I don’t know much about this condition can anyone help me as paracetamol doesn’t really work . I’m new to here thanks everyone .

Hi if your breathing gets worse and or you start coughing it could be the sighn of a lung infection maybe worth getting it checked out as early treatment for infections makes a huge differance to recovery. Welcome to the sight 🌻
Welcome, you may find some useful info on the search tab on here or contact the nurses for a chat. 🙂 or look on NHS site but don't scare yourself with dr google, were all guilty of it but the excess in anxiety created as obviously everyone is about to pop their clogs (according to Google as they know each individual medical history) is not worth it.
