Waiting for appointment for gynaecologist
Hi everyone, I got diagnosed with endometriosis around 12 years ago, I'm 30 next month. But for the past 2 months I have had a major flare up, went to gp who sent me for bloods and an ultrasound - both came back with nothing. Then 2 weeks ago she finally put the referral in for the gynecologist.

Maybe now the cruelty can stop
The U.S. CDC, doctors and organizations who, directly or indirectly, inhumanely reduced and/or cut people off from opioids for pain or RLS now have a chance to redeem their cruel decisions based on new CDC guidelines (link below) released 11/03/22. It is 11 since my circumcision surgery and it has been a while since I posted an update. So I thought it might be good to do so, in the hope that I can reassure someone going through the same process. I have suffered with a tight foreskin since puberty, and I was diagnosed with really bad phimosis

Paracetamol with gastritis?
Can you take paracetamol if you have gastritis? I have pains in my shoulders and need to take something to relieve it. Obviously I don't want to aggravate my gastric symptoms

cirrhosis and arthritis and pain relief
hi, partner is listed for TX and has been experiencing a severe pain in one toe for around 6 months. His GP now says she thinks its either arthritis or gout but she isn't sure what to give him that will be safe for him to take. Paracetamol doesnt help. She has suggested rubbing ibuprofen gel on it

Palpitations
I’ve been having palpitations since July and they have got to a point where they are now affecting me very badly, physically and mentally. I had a palpitation flare up about three years ago and I was certain it was a long term side effect of the medication I was on - I persuaded my gastroenterologist

flu Jab
I had my flu jab a couple of days ago. I had it about 12.30pm. By about 6.00pm I was starting to feel very tired. I slept in the chair all evening then slept all night in bed. I got up in the morning a little bit better but after a couple of hours was really shivering. I got myself a sandwich as I didn

Migraines in 2ww
My OTD is tomorrow (today I’m 8dp5dt). In the last 3 days I’ve been getting horrible migraines - paracetamol really isn’t cutting it! But for me these are usually a pre-menstrual thing so has got me overthinking/ panicking. Last night, on wiping, I saw the palest of pink spotting and then convinced

Costochondritis or what the heck is going on.
So I've been doing really well except the shoulder which hurts, most likely because of pinched nerve in neck, has bothered me since returning from trip. Couple of days ago noticed a slight tenderness in chest, reminiscent of what was probably costochondritis from pre-PMR days although I never had a

ibuprofen and fet cycle
Getting quite bad headaches on progynova for my FET cycle. I know you shouldn’t take ibuprofen after transfer but what about before transfer? Paracetamol not really touching the sides! Argh!

Puzzled. Symptoms worse after starting treatment.
On the balance of probabilities I have been diagnosed with atypical, mild PMR. I have just finished two weeks of 15mg daily of prendnisolone. The mild symptoms I had before, night-time aches in one leg and shoulder, became more pronounced during this time. In addition I have had a severe back ache after

Pain is now unrelenting. About to rejig meds.
I've been taking 5mg Pred for 4+ weeks (plus the 30mg Hydrocortisone in divided dose). You'll recall my Dr said it was too low too quickly. I decided to carry on as I'd got here (unscathed so far) and didn't want to go back. 4 weeks on my CRP has gone up to 6.1 after months at or around 4.3. I am

Agonising pain
this is now my 6th week of agonising pain. Tonight however seems to be particularly worse. Woken up at 4am (hsving slept at 12 for the same reason). tramadol and paracetamol taken. Pain just isn’t subsiding. How do you cope? I’m at my wits end. Please don’t say hospital or morphine hospital doesn’t
