hi,

I’ve just had an ERCP with bile duct clear out as stones etc formed post gallbladder removal I also had a sphincterotomy due to SOD however I have woken up in agony way worse than I came in with it’s awful. The nurse said it’s just pain from the procedure and gave me paracetamol and will give me stronger if it doesn’t help but has anyone else had this please tell me it will ease as it’s awful my poor back as well I’ve not felt pain like this since I had my gallbladder this is horrific. I’ve got a 3 hour trip home from the hospital when I’m discharged as well so I’m very worried I hurt so much. Help please give good news I hope 🙏🏻 Xx

HI,

Have just come across your post . I hope you are recovered ? I had cholecystectomy 6 weeks ago - docs said everything went well - no stone is bike duct etc . 6 weeks in and I can’t lay on my right side due to pain and bulky feeling , can’t do up shoe laces or bend etc. nurses say give it time - I’m worried - did you have same symptoms and are you better now ?
