When to have the jab.
Three weeks ago I had a mild heart attack. I also had pneumonia. Will I be able to have the flu jab this year & how long after my heart attack? Also would it be a good idea to have the pneumonia jab.

Day 3 (only) drugs are sending me crackers
So I’m only on day 3 and the drugs are kicking in bigtime. 10mg of Progynova a day, 200mg Evorel patches every other day. I think I’m very sensitive to the glue on the patches too as they are really itchy and I already want to rip my legs off 😔. Haven’t even started the 400mg x 4 times a day of Cyclogest

Cold leg and foot
I am on my and the last few days I have been getting a really cold leg and foot both much paler than the other. I know it definitely not a clot that would be hit and swollen. I am also testing fluid, I will contact nurses on monday... It just seems odd.

Arm still aching after flu jab
At least I think it's because of the flu jab as my left arm didn't start aching until a few days after the injection. I had both flu and covid vaccines together on Oct 27th and my arm is still aching quite a bit when I'm using it and has got worse this past few days if anything. I rarely get an aching

Hi lovely lung people… I’m due my 5 yearly pneumonia vaccine again in March ‘23’, but I’m really suffering lately with re infections, so I asked my GP (who asked my ex respiratory specialist) if I could have it now instead of waiting until March….sadly the answer was no, I will have to wait. So my

Currently have a virus with a bad lingering cough which is keeping me awake at night. My PCP told me to take Delsym nighttime cough relief. A Newer Type Flu Vaccine, Stronger Dose
I recently posted on selecting the Moderna Covid vax for its larger dose. There is actually a similar choice available for the flu vax. Flu vax is traditionally made by growing it in chicken eggs, this is why you see warnings about any egg allergies. But this process is slow so they need to guess

High Ferritin
I was diagnosed with NALD over a year ago. Blood tests were saying my Ferritin levels greater than 400 and ALT 61 six months ago. I was checked for Hemochromatosis which was negative. Dr said repeat blood tests in 6 months, if ferritin still high then a liver scan would be necessary. I’ve just

A cold that does not want to go away
Friends, I have had a cold for three weeks now. Not COVID, I got tested several times. This cold gives me congestion, cough, body aches and on top of all that I lost my sense of smell and taste. Does any of you experience a similar situation? If you do, could you please share it? Thank you

Hi all, due to get mine this afternoon but am in two minds about it. Currently 19 weeks and never had the flu in my life but want to get the jab to reduce chances of getting the flu to keep baby safe from possibly getting a high temp if I did contract the flu. But of course my mind is overdrive about

I was diagnosed 6 years ago. After my annual physical my physician sent me to a hematologist because my WBC was staying a bit above normal. I get bronchitis and pneumonia frequently. My lymphnodes have begun to be slightly enlarged. I'm exhausted and have given up things I love. My WBC IS 33.8 Lymph

Well, that’s no fun
Having suspected I was having a flare, as I had generally totally overdone everything, I increased my dose (as advised on here) of Prednisolone from 7mgs to 12 mgs fully intending that I would reduce down again to the 7mgs over a few weeks by reducing at a rate of 1mg a week. We went on a lovely weeks
