Cold leg and foot

I am on my and the last few days I have been getting a really cold leg and foot both much paler than the other. I know it definitely not a clot that would be hit and swollen. I am also testing fluid, I will contact nurses on monday... It just seems odd.

It is definitely not something to be ignored and should be followed up ASAP. There can be a number of causes, including Peripheral Artery Disease, Peripheral Neuropathy, and more. Here is a bit on that.

If the limb becomes acutely painful, then immediate intervention is critical.

If the onset was sudden, I would make it a point to notify the hematology on-call immediately or simply go to an urgent care center. If the symptom seems to be progressing or is bothersome, then seeking immediate care would also be a good idea. This could be something very minor but it really is best not to make assumptions in the context of having a MPN.

I had something very similar happen to my left big toe and the side of my foot priority diagnosis of PV ....extremely cold and pale x.....Once I'd seen the consultant I was prepped for starting hydroxycarbamide. I think they thought I was a higher risk of clotting x

It's resolved no I've been on treatment for the condition x
