Signs of Christmas.
Christmas means a lot of things We look forward to each year And signs of it approaching I used to hold so dear The shops had signs of Christmas To help to sell there stuff With shelves of toys and other things As though we hadn't enough The holly and the ivy And mistletoe everywhere Which gave a chance

Depersonalization/Dissociation
Sometimes during panic attacks I experience a "break from reality" sensation. My vision tunnels, I "zone out," my body feels numb or like it weighs nothing, I feel like I can't move, etc. I have heard it referred to as "depersonalization" and "dissociation." Lately, I have been experiencing this sensation

Has anyone else ever passed out from a panic attack?
This happened to me for the first time last night and it was really scary. I felt intense anxiety and then couldn’t hear anything except for my blood rushing & everything turned blurry and then black. I was sweating and felt nauseous before and after I passed out. I’ve thrown up from panic / anxiety

Fear
New to this site. But had very bad panic attack and bad thoughts two months ago. Big crisis happen. Couldn’t work for a month. Got a bit better with meds. Anxiety and fog and fear is still there. Meds numbed me which is making me feel worse. Lost tons of weight couldn’t eat: feels like something awful

Rough Day
My anxiety is at an all time high. I had about eight anxiety attacks today at work before I finally decided to leave. My depression leaves me spiraling downward. All I want to do is stay in bed and sleep or hide in my house where it is “safe”. I’m scared I’ll lose my job because they just don’t understand

Update on Panic attacks in sleep
before, I had 1-2 panic attacks every single night (always around 2-4am) and It was durning my sleep. I didn't know why at first but I figured out it was just too much stress and worry. So I talked with my boyfriend about my worries in our relationship and I finally calmed myself down about Job status

Return to "normal" Day 3.
Well, good news everyone. I didn't throw up before work today, in fact, I ate my normal breakfast (eggs over easy and sausage). Didn't even have to think about taking a Xanax. Even better, this afternoon could have been very stressful to me because of some extra work that was not foreseen. However, I

Panic attack
Hey team! Well had another one last night. Need some advice on what people are finding helpful in the mist of an attack. I know many will say what to do when it happens....I can easily get out of them..I just need to jump out of bed and move....BUT....I want to learn how to stay in bed and not run.

BUSPAR / Buspirone question
Have any of you tried Buspar for anxiety? I've been on it a couple of weeks now, and I'm feeling very ANGRY.. there is this strong feeling of anger and rage. Is this one of the side effects.. and does it eventually go away? Any feedback / comments you might have on Buspar will be greatly appreciated

Intrusive Thoughts?
I have had Anxiety Disorder since I has 12, but never had obsessive, intrusive thoughts until now. Finding that Anxiety Disorder doesn’t mean you are crazy was such a relief for me until now. Explaining Anxiety to those whom do not have it is basically impossible and you know they don’t understand even

What was your experience on lexapro (escitalopram)?
Hi again. I am struggling bad today. Third day on lexapro (20mg). Right now, I feel so weird in my head. Earlier I was just cleaning and making lunch for my son when I began feeling very odd: hot, numb, out of my body and mind, accompanied by EXTREME FEAR. I thought it was the start of a p/a so I tried

Has anyone ever had their panic attacks change?? Like, I knew I as going into one because my breathing would change, I felt like I could not take a deep breath, then followed by dizziness, shaking, etc.. Now, my breathing seems fine, but my mouth goes bone dry, feel like I cannot swallow and then comes
