Heart anxiety: How to get out from anxiety... - Anxiety Support
Heart anxiety
Hello
I know how awful HA affects us and we always seem to focus on one thing or several that we fear
But it is about trying to change the way we think , not easy I know
So since 2014 you have been anxious over your heart which is nearly7 years ago yet here you are nothing has gone wrong with your heart so 7 years you have been miserable and yet still fit even if you do not feel like it
The fear is what is feeding these thoughts and how it stays in control of how we feel , reality is in most cases nothing is going to happen
Try doing some meditation , deep relaxation which are all on You Tube if you look and maybe speak with your Doctor to see what support they can give you to
If you lie in the UK Talking Mental Health which you can get onto via Google you can refer yourself without a Doctor for some Counselling , this may help to
There are so many of us with HA fears so know you are not alone and you have somewhere you can come and talk
Take Care x
hi . I suffer with heart anxiety as well as HA ,but my main fear is my heart . i have had this for many years ,its very frightening because when we become anxious the heart races even more hence we get even more paranoid about everything its a viscous circle . A few months ago i had missed heart beats it totally sent my anxiety through the roof i ended up in A/E having a ECG and blood tests the ECG was normal and the blood test came back clear ,but even that has not put my mind at rest ,i still think my heart is going to stop or i have a heart attack at some point ,so i know how you feel its horrible all this worry we go through ..if you need to talk and chat i am happy to help if i can .take care x
What helps me, and yes I’ve had anxiety much like yours off and on, is to get into a meditative state and then allow the fear to arise. Look at it and let it be or let it blossom. Do this on a regular basis and learn to not resist it. It’s not encouraging the fear it’s simply getting into a meditation like mind set and allowing the fear and seeing that it is simply a mental state like any other one, anger, joy, laughter etc. it’s really not so special and it’s designed to put you in action to fight or flee or take some kind of action. Your responds because it needs to pump blood to your body so it can fight the menace, but of course the menace is simply your imagination. By doing this your fears don’t seem so threatening, but it takes practice. Like most things in life that benefit us.
Hi there Saipavan, I have been suffering with this since I was 14, I'm 47 now, in the earlier years I played alot of sport but I was having panic attacks on the field , I was full sure I was going to get a heart attack and die on the spot, it all seemed because my father died of a massive heart attack at 41 I was 8 at the time, To complicate things as well when I went to A and E after first panic attack they found I had right rbbb, it's the electrical part of the heart, they reassure me it was normal and not life threatening, but I spent the next 20 + years not believing them, panicking all the time, please stop worrying your ok, don't waste your life worrying about something that probably wont happen, you should try CBT, I wish you calm and we here with you. Peace
Yes I know how you feel, and it’s scary but be rest assured if you take action you can conquer 1 put your trust in the lord this is always the best place to start acknowledge him and he will direct your path‘s

3. Feelings of anxiety is nothing more than adrenaline be released into your body when this happens take a walk ride a bike or run burn out the adrenaline from your body, is the fight or flight syndrome you’re not fighting anything except your own thoughts,it’s the way we were made
