Total knee replacement - 6 weeks on
I'm still taking Tramadol and think I'll need to continue taking that for a while yet to take the edge off the
pain
. For those of you who have already had a TKR, how long were you taking strong
pain
killers for in your recovery?

Nifedipine - how do YOU take it?
Hi! The rheumatologist I last saw has sent a vague instruction to my GP recommending that I take nifedipine “in the winter months”, but not specifying strength, frequency etc. This is to combat what I think is worsening Raynaud’s in my hands - permanently wrinkled fingertips as if I’ve just come out

Update excruciating pain
He was in excruciating
pain
. Thanks to this MRI which showed up abnormalities he has had further investigations and they discovered he had a rare primary Spinal Chord Cancer. He is going to have as much of it removed as they can and will have a treatment plan for chemo and radiotherapy.

Reduce arthritis pain
Ive gone on a reduced sugar, and reduced processed foods diet. I also day for at least 16 hours (5 pm to 10 am) this has helped my osteoarthritis immensely. I am able to play pickleball almost daily. Foods are know to cause inflammation. Find your inflammatory food and quit it to feel better.

Pain After Paracentesis
He has had 2 previous drains but this time he has experienced a lot of
pain
afterwards. It’s sometimes quite acute - and gets worse when he eats. Then he feels 100% better - only for the
pain
to start again. Has anyone else had this experience? Any advice out there?

Neck pain??
And multiple people were speaking about their neck
pain
. I never thought this was MS related. I guess probably because I was complaining about my neck before my MS diagnosis....

Monthly intense pain
Has anyone had pelvic
pain
that appears only for a few days (4-7 typically) each month, about 10 days before my period, and then goes away. I did a vaginal ultrasound, an MRI, and all looks normal. Yet the
pain
is very intense. I had to go to the ER several times because it was unbearable.

Pain after erection
Feels awesome but the problem is after she has left, I feel like I've been kicked in the nuts and I have a weird abdominal
pain
which is hard to describe. The
pain
remains for like 1,5-2,5 hours. It's not terrible but it's quite unpleasant. I think it's caused by being erect for too long.

Endo Pain
Always in
pain
, stomach swells up, heavy and painful bleeds. It got that bad I saw an out of hours GP and he thought my appendix had burst with my
pain
. Turns out it’s suspected endo. I don’t get why they say that like it needs confirming not just an assumption.

Pain in foot?
Could anyone tell me if
pain
in the feet is related to PMR? For the last 2 days - when resting in the evening- I have had the most excruciating, debilitating
pain
in one of my feet.
