Hi all,Just wondering if any of you have our are suffering with hip pain?
In the last 3 days I've had pain in my hips, first day it was both, second day it was 1 and felt like it was easing up, then today it is still 1 hip, but got worse. It feels like I've just had a BM biopsy, and no pain killers seem to be working.
Anyone have any ideas on how to ease the pain?
I’ve been getting same thing lots of hip pain sometimes in both and sometimes one hip at a time. Ever since I stopped my treatment it started. It must be symptoms of the disease( but I have pv). Extra strengthTylenol helps me
Shortly after being diagnosed with PV I had terrible pain in one hip. Nothing helped, not pain killers, not physical therapy (that made it worse). Then I was found to have avascular necrosis in that hip as a result of lack of blood flow when my blood was like sludge. I had to have a hip replacement. Since then there haven't been any problems because my numbers are under control. Not saying that this is what you have, but you should probably have it checked out.
I too have started having pain in my hip, this has been going on for about a month. Yesterday my knee started hurting. Not sure if it is related to ET, but I'm taking it easy and not walking on it too much.
I’ve got hip pain but scan says it’s arthritis which is very common once one is a certain age
