Nerve pain

I am still at 6 mgs pred, been on pred since Oct 2016, dont believe have pmr still bit in May and again last couple weeks severe front thigh and groin pain had MRI in May, nerve root impingemen, ruptured disk, went for 20 sessions spinal decompression thetapy, settlef down, have same pain again, been for frw treatments, 4 of them still severe pain, extra strength tylenol doesnt help , wonderin if I could take advil , once in while for some relief

Sorry to hear that - but it is your medical team you need to ask about that really. If it is nerve pain I doubt OTC painkillers will help.

And bad time of year, lost my son in July, and other ailments in last while, makes everything seem worse,

sorry to hear about your son. I suffer from nerve pain due to other ailments, &, for fifteen years I have tried many different painkillers! I can’t take ibuprofen. I’m now on prescription pain patches. Keep pushing your medics, nerve pain is very acute, & I hope you find a solution. I didn’t find anything available in a shop to be useful, but we are all different! Take care of yourself, S x

Oh i get the pain bit. With you there with discs and nerves, been quite a year. I hope you get some pain relief from your medics that might help. Let us know.
