Hi Sanchsmudge

Welcome to the forum. I can’t comment on your symptoms , but I would advise you to get yourself checked out with the A & E department or walk in centre this weekend. You will probably need to have an x- ray and depending on results possibly antibiotics. You could also call 111 and ask for their advice. Let us know how you get on. All the best.

Welcome to the forum. Make an appointment with your GP or call the AsthmaLung helpline on Monday for advice.

Hi Sanchsmudge,

I have something that sounds very similar to you. I agree with all the above advice, however, I was told, by an advanced nurse, that it maybe scar tissue from previous infections causing the irritation. What I find odd is whenever I have steroids or antibiotics, I can feel them attacking this particular spot. Unfortunately, the response from the GP was she didn't know! X-rays haven't shown up anything specific.

I had the same but with cough. Long story short. Weeks down the line I sent sputum through medical centre to lab. Turned out had a bacterial infection. Was pretty I'llBest to get yourself checked out.

Blessings and love xxxx
