Myocarditis chest pain

Hi all,

I’m approaching the 3 month mark with myocarditis. Chest pains were slowly easing off but have increased slightly over the past few weeks. I’m continuing to rest and listen to my body. Anyone that has recovered from myocarditis, I’m interested to know if you also experienced a rocky recovery with ups and downs? Even when I’m resting things don’t seem to be improving much. Still taking colchicine. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Hey Beachboy, I was kept on Colchicine for too long and it affected my kidneys, so they took me off it, I don't think one should be taking it for more than 3 months, so get advice. Myocarditis is so awful, and like the last response, it is very slow, I am still getting chest pain when I do too much. Be kind to yourself, be gentle with yourself, is my advice and remember your breathing techniques from your diaphragm. Hang in there, your webpage family are here whenever you need us.
