my new doc just take me off my painkillers and not offered a equivalent or replacement but arcoding to my complaint I refused any treatment this a lie a video the calls and catch them in so many lies I need help before I get harmed

I am looking for advice and guidance on my pain management. For the last few years I seem to be hitting a brick wall in regards to pain relief. I am currently prescribed Madopar, and unable to take sinimet due to worsening side effects.

I am not yet diagnosed with Endo but waiting some tests. My period pains are becoming more and more unmanageable with the prescriptions pain meds I have. Currently I will take Codeine, Naproxen and Paracetamol to their fullest dosage but sometimes it doesn’t relieve me of pain or at least not for

Hope you’re all having a comfortable/pain free day. Can anyone that’s seen pain management team or the pain management specialist at their BSGE centre tell me what to expect when I get my appointment? What do they actually do? Did anything they suggest/offer help? Thanks!

Hi. I was diagnosed just over a year ago with fibromyalgia. I have damage to a couple of disks my neck, possibly after banging my head at work. I believe the bang brought on the fibro. Anyway, I've got an appointment soon at the clinic. First one is a group meeting then there's a follow up with a psychologist

In regards to the pain medication they gave you in the ER, hydrocodone/acetaminophen is an opioid and generally not prescribed long term for pain management. We DO NOT prescribe this med for restless leg syndrome.

I am following SOC treatment here in Canada. I have come to the point where I am in serious pain due to the metastatic disease in and around my lower back. I am worried that accepting the pain management course will be taken as a sign that I have accepted they are not going to try and treat my ITBS and GTPS. Point 3 is the biggest issue.

Pain management is pretty good now. But recently find myself crying for no real reason. Could this be related to RA.

Pain management discharged me, saying they couldn't help me until I had seen gynaecology. They said if gynaecology couldn't help me I could be re-referred to pain management.

Hi all my wife wrote a letter to the Gp got I text if I want to discuss pain management she will call me I want her to call me just nervous as that's not all wish to discuss She could brush me of again...

The pain management team at the hospital refused to see me and said I should call a pain clinic instead. I do have a pelvic pain team with a different hospital however it is quite far away and the wait times for appointments are always very long.

Has anyone had any good news from the paingone pens please as I was looking to get one to try as my pain management said it is worth a try
